The Space:
Located at "The Washout" on Folly Beach, this one-of-a-kind beachfront home is the perfect place to catch the best waves on the island! Wave Watcher is a luxury family retreat featuring a large saltwater pool and outdoor kitchen overlooking the ocean, an outdoor living room with 4k smart TV, and a massive private backyard oasis with a dining table, putting green, lounge areas, ping pong table, and a fire pit. This home includes every amenity you can think of for you and your loved ones to enjoy during your beach vacation!
– Property Layout –
🏡 First floor :
– Open concept living with high ceilings and upgraded finishes.
– A gourmet kitchen with an oversized island, custom live edge dining table, and spacious living room create the perfect place for gathering. Indoor living blends seamlessly to the outdoors, with a massive deck overlooking the ocean that features a large saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen with grill, outdoor dining table large enough for the whole family, and an outdoor living room with gas fireplace and 4k smart TV.
– Primary suite with King bed, walk in closet, and ensuite bathroom complete with double sink vanity, large shower with rainfall shower head, and separate soaking tub. Opens to a private porch with outdoor teak seating overlooking the backyard.
🏡 Second floor :
– 4 King bedrooms each with a smart TV and their own ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms have access to a porch with outdoor seating which overlooks the ocean or backyard.
– Laundry room with front loading washer/dryer.
🏡 Third floor :
– Secluded office with a custom desk, that doubles as a queen sized murphy bed, and wet bar opens to a large rooftop deck with seating areas overlooking the ocean.

– Massive private oasis that features a fire pit, putting green, patio seating, and teak dining table.
– Outdoor games include a ping pong table, corn hole, and giant Connect Four.

Guest Access:
• Guests will have access to the entire property and private use of all outdoor spaces.
• The house has electronic door locks and a unique code will be provided that will work for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The home is located at "The Washout" – one the best-known surf spots on the east coast. Located in a beach front neighborhood best known for its incredible views and easy beach access. The area is safe and is right off of the main road, 2 miles to the island's center.
Getting Around:
• Footsteps to the beach
• 5 minute drive to the island's center street, pier, restaurants and shopping
• Golf carts can be rented for easy access around the island
• Uber or Lyft around the island or to the airport
Other Things to Note:
• No parties or events.
• There is a $100 non-refundable damage waiver fee.
• Optional Pool Heating: $100 per day with max temperature of 88°
• Baby gear rentals are available upon request for an additional fee.
• This home has multiple sets of stairs and is not child-proofed. Families with infants or children are welcome, but please be aware of these risks.
• Stairs required – One flight of stairs required to get to the main living space. The primary bedroom is located on the 1st floor. All other bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The murphy desk bed is located on the 3rd floor.
• If you plan to use the murphy desk as a bed, please inform us in advance so we can have it prepared for your arrival. Please note that when the murphy bed is in use, the desk will not be available for the duration of your stay.
• Elevator is not available for guest use.
