Northwoods Paradise on Keyes Lake sleeps 12

We want to welcome you to our wonderful Northwoods getaway on beautiful Keyes Lake, which is perfect to swim, fish, waterski, or just float on...it is truly a special place. We have 4 bedrooms plus a loft and 3 1/2 bathrooms in our 3350 sq. ft. home that comfortably sleeps 12. Keyes lake is a gorgeous 200 acre lake with a depth of 74 feet. Fish found in Keyes Lake include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear. If you would like to bring your own boat or rent a boat, there is a public boat landing. This is a quiet lake with full recreational opportunities including boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and fishing. We have lots of outdoor opportunities for fun with plenty of seating for everyone. We have a great patio overlooking the lake with lounge chairs, bocce ball court, and a retractable awning. We also have a floating dock to hang out on just off shore. We also have 4 kayaks to paddle around on the lake. You will love the fire pit by the lake side with a wooden bench to sit on and a covered area for your firewood. You will enjoy the wonderful views from the entire lakeside of the house basically full of floor to ceiling windows. Our house has all the comforts of home with a kitchen that has hickory cabinets and granite countertops. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you should need to cook a gourmet meal. We also have a selection of spices and cooking oil along with starter garbage bags, paper towels, etc.
This a great entertaining house with an indoor sauna, pool table, dart board, and lots of board games for the family to play at night. We have a workout area with an elliptical, a rowing machine, and dumbbells.
There is plenty to do nearby, also. There are numerous supper clubs nearby, Maxsells, Tavern on Main, Richard's of Dunbar, and Annie's Trading Post, which is on the lake, just to name a few. Florence is only 8 minutes away if you need groceries or alcohol and the larger town of Iron Mountain is only 25 minutes away if you need other items found at the local shops, Walmart, or Home Depot.
You can enjoy outdoor sports throughout the year with snowmobile and ATV trail access trails on our road in front of our home. You will definitely check all your boxes for a wonderful stay up north at our home. SORRY WE DON'T ALLOW ANY PETS.

The house was very nice. Plenty of space for the amount of people we had staying there. Definitely have to keep an eye on little ones as there is a drop off down to the lake in some spots, but plenty of area where there are steps to get down. Kitchen amenities were plentiful and useful. Beautiful sunrises each morning. Peaceful environment. We didn’t talk to any neighbors, but any of them that we saw on our walks seemed friendly and waved to us. Very pleased overall and definitely would recommend this property to others.

The house and location are beautiful. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook. We had great weather and we swam, kayaked, played yard games, and enjoyed sitting outside in the great patio/deck spaces. There really isn't much to do in the area, so having nice weather was key. This was a wonderful rental for a big family getaway.

Wonderful property on a beautiful lake. Many fun activities to enjoy, yard games, bocce ball, sunning deck and swimming. The house is beautifully appointed and well stocked with essecential items. Double washer/dryers, dishwasher, double ovens, outdoor grill/s and spacious kitchen. Comfy beds and spacious gathering spaces. We throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again. Perfect for our family!

Absolutely perfect

Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our time over the 4th of July holiday at this home. Incredibly comfortable and well stocked. Owner was very easy to communicate with. The lake is small, but very clean and deep. Easy to dock a large pontoon! Made ample use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Lots of outdoor seating. Caught bluegill right off the dock. Saw bald eagles and loons as well. Enjoyed the boat parade and fireworks on the fourth! Everyone really enjoyed the sauna and the basement was a wonderful place for the teenagers to hang. Highly recommend!

Our group can't wait to go back!

We absolutley loved our stay. Such a beautiful home with so much to offer and it was spotless! The kitchen has everything you need, from silverware to cookware, mixers, blenders, and spices galore for cooking. We had 3 couples with 5 teenager between us so the kids had thier own area downstairs while adults were upstairs for the most part...perfect layout. The dart board and pool table were a hit too. Our host was very responsive and accommodating as well. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back next year as well.

In area for nieces wedding. My brother has a property close to this location, so very convenient. Beautiful property! Clean, and spacious. Right on water with great views. Close enough to town and bars, but still secluded. Everything you need is included in the house. Thank You for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Annual family vacation

The rental was clean and stocked with everything you could ask for. We rented a Pontoon for the week which was dropped off and picked up across the lake. Fishing was great and the daily fires down by the water had plenty of wood for us to burn. We will be back next year.

This property is fabulous!

Our family of 12 enjoyed 4 days & nights at this beautiful house. It has everything: a kitchen with everything we needed and more, a pool table & games for fun, a patio for relaxing, a dock perfect for jumps in the lake! We put the sauna & weight room to use as well, along with the amazing laundry room! The house was perfectly clean, very new, and a real treat to stay in. Plenty of space for all of us! The lake is clean, peaceful, perfect. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a refreshing time away. We will be back next year, Lord willing!

Great snowmobiling getaway!

This place is beautiful! Very clean and well-stocked. The owner was very accessible and super helpful. We found some great trails snowmobiling but it was hard to leave the comforts of the cabin.

We were in the area for work and very much enjoyed staying at such a comfortable homelike place instead of a hotel. Host is so friendly and helpful! Lake views were amazing. I hope to stay sometime we aren't working!

North woods small lake people this is for you! Very beautiful house!

Everything was as shown and actually a bit better. The house is very clean which is a number one concern for me. It is laid out well for a family to share. You will have everything you need. The deck that is being removed due to lake regulation issues is really no big deal because the patio is AMAZING with spacious and comfortable furniture. It will not effect anything. We didn’t have opportunity to BBQ but hopefully next time as there is an amazing BBQ. The lake access steps are sturdy and nice. Thanks Shanette it was very nice.

Best girls weekend ever!

This is a must visit place. The moment this property comes into view, it’s overwhelming in the best way. The house itself is grand; large bedrooms, bathrooms and dining areas. The patio overlooking Keyes Lake was probably my favorite spot as I enjoyed my coffee each morning. The kitchen has almost everything you need. They have literally thought of almost everything. As far as the lake goes, I floated in it almost every day even though it barely reached 70. The water was so clear. The people around are incredibly friendly as well. Would love to come back and visit!
