"This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area"

"The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. "We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. "I found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and well equipped, the allocated parking space is great to have as street parking can be challenging in Keswick. The location is perfect, quiet with only a short walk into town. I'd certainly book again unless I decided to take bikes as there didn't appear to be anywhere for storing them. The welcome tray of tea and coffee etc. was much appreciated after a long drive, thank you."

"The cottage was well appointed and met all of our needs. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. Parking space was good and location excellent for access to local amenities and Keswick. Would happily return. Minor issues would be I found the living room sofas a little to soft for me and access is up a short flight of steps although this didn't pose a problem for us."

"Although the weather was awful, we were pleased to have such a cosy cottage to come back to. It had all the amenities we could possibly need, and the cleanliness was second to none. "Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. The water levels were incredibly high when we arrived so couldn't make the best use of the launches as we have in the past but enjoyed a trip later in the week. The footpath...
