"After a week camping in awful weather, I wanted to get a place whilst I met up with some old friends, I booked this place on line, and I'm so glad I did! It was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped, the owners are very friendly, and have done a great job in renovating the building into a 5 star accommodation, would highly recommend it"

"Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. "The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about.
