Escape the hustle and bustle to this beautiful log cabin just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely setting with pretty views from covered front porch. Chances are you will see plenty of wildlife such as deer and wild turkey. Enjoy the privacy and seclusion yet just a few minutes drive to Boone or West Jefferson.

Open great room with fully-equipped kitchen, gas stone fireplace, recliner sofa... master bedroom with private bath on main level. Upstairs loft area perfect for kids with one twin bed and one queen size bed and separate bathroom with shower.

If you prefer hiking, there are several nice walks and hikes within the area and numerous trails off the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Mountain Aire Golf Course and Jefferson Landing are just a few miles away. Tweetsie Railroad is a short drive for the kids and shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall is close by for Mom.

The cabin is conveniently located within a short drive of Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, and several major ski resort areas.

All trash MUST be bagged and placed in the garbage can behind cabin. Trash can be taken with you or left. Charge is $5.00 per bag removed.
Outdoor grill has propane tank and gauge. Guests are responsible for propane and can use tank as a core return. PLEASE remove gauge.
In the FALL and WINTER please set thermostat back to 60 degrees upon departure and leave electric baseboard heaters on MEDIUM.

We stayed here Dec 23-29 and loved our stay. Its a very quiet location nestled back into the mountains of Fleetwood nearby Boone. The neighbors we met when walking our dog were friendly. The owners of the cabin decorated it very cute, even had some holiday themed items which was nice. Everything necessary for a kitchen, bathroom and laundry is provided. There were extra linens and blankets too but we never needed to pull them out since they have automatic thermostat set comfortably. The front porch is cozy with plenty of seating and swinging bench, fire pit and grill. My kids thought the loft was -the- coolest thing. The beds were all comfortable. We loved staying here and hope to return sometime soon when there is snow in the area.

This was a beautiful relaxing and clean little cabin. The driving directions were a bit hard to follow but we found it. It was very quiet and peaceful. Absolutely stunning Mountain View from the front porch! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at the cabin. Very cozy and clean. Hills to turn on the road and driveway were steep but we have an AWD vehicle so we didn’t have issues. Looking forward to staying there again.

Beautiful mountain view from the front porch! We saw lots of deer. The beds were comfortable! It has a really nice fireplace that was easy to turn on/off. We spent a day at Tweetsie Railroad for Heritage Weekend which was 30 miles away from the cabin. We traveled to Mt. Airy to visit the home place of Andy Griffith which was one and a half hours away. We didn't bring pets but it is pet friendly and would consider it for another stay.

Blue Ridge getaway

This mountain side cabin has everything for a couples retreat. 2 bath 2 bed with gas fireplace. Wonderful view from the covered deck swing. Great sunsets with a gas fire pit in the deck. 2 burner gas grill. Obvious owners care for their place. Quiet area yet close enough to restaurant and town . Thanks for sharing your home .
