Welcome to The Retreat at Sunshine Creek, hosted by Simple Life Rentals located in downtown Fish Creek, Door County! This charming 2-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath condo is the ultimate destination for your peaceful getaway with the capacity to sleep up to 6 guests comfortably.

Step into the cozy living space and you'll find a gas fireplace, a comfortable living room with Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen and first floor laundry. Outside the community pool invites you to take a refreshing dip or lounge under the sun, creating lasting memories with loved ones. Plus, The Retreat's prime location puts you within walking distance to downtown as well as Peninsula State Park for biking, hiking, and exploring nature's beauty.

This location is also great for groups-- we offer Birch Grove Cottage and Yellow Birch Cottage at the same location.

Additional sleeping space: Pull-out sofa couch (Queen size) in living room.

Parking:
2 dedicated, outdoor parking spots in driveway plus street and overnight street parking available.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
• A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
• PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

- Right next to Hat Head
- Public parking (vehicles, boats, trailers) is one driveway to the west and is shared with Hat Head.
- Walking distance to Wild Tomato, Not Licked Yet and Peninsula State Park
- 2 minute drive to 2 public boat launches
- 3 minute walk to the Fish Creek Beach
- 5 minute walk to downtown Fish Creek shops and restaurants

Home Truths:
No boat, trailer or RV parking, No garage, but additional public parking is available nearby.

Location is near Hwy 42/ Egg Harbor Road, which typically experiences higher traffic volume during the peak tourist season.

Condo is in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties or other rowdy gatherings.

Perfect location fully walkable to Fish Creek shops/restaurants/beachfront/State Park. Easy parking and drive to any other town - we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the proximity to everything in Fish Creek and the rest of the peninsula. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located. The only tiny suggestion I'd make would be to have some tissues in the house! That's the only thing I can think to suggest, so that just speaks to a great place overall!

Very well equipped and appointed. Only the TV was a mystery to us. We weren’t able to watch the olympics as we had wished. Unable to get network or cable channels we were used to. I guess it got us out more.

Unit is well maintained and you can’t beat the location. We loved being able to walk to all of our favorite activities: bike rental for PSP, pizza at Wild Tomato, downtown shops and marina, and frozen custard right across the street. Plenty of space to spread out on first floor and all is quiet after 10 pm even during peak season. Would definitely book again.

Great location! Beautiful condo! Loved the Town of Fish Creek. Could walk to shops and restaurants and even Sunset park to watch the sunset. For a family of four, would have loved extra towels, but other than that, the condo had everything we needed.

We stayed at this cottage for my door county half marathon. Was a great location right next to peninsula state park. Cottage was very clean and cosy. My 3 year old loved going to the fish creek beach. Overall excellent stay!
