"Great location and staff was very helpful. Room was smaller than the cruise ship cabin we had, but it was sufficient and loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Easy to walk to the hotel, with luggage, from the cruise ship. And easy walk to shops and restaurants."

"Charming historic cozy hotel, just outside beautiful Nygårdsparken and an easy walk to the train station and several nice restaurants nearby. Also an easy walk to the city center. Excellent attention to detail, with afternoon brownies and coffee/tea, and a well-appointed and delicious breakfast, early enough for those with early morning travel plans. Staff are delightful and friendly. Can't recommend this memorable historic family-owned hotel highly enough!"

"Vi hadde en super tur på hotellet. Frokosten var veldig bra, sengene var kjempe gode med verdens beste og varme dyne. Plasseringen var helt super! Kort gangavstand til alt, fint parkeringshus rett ved hotellet, med døgnpris. Badet var koselig og det var grei størrelse på rommet for 3 netter. Noen småting var det, puta var altfor flat, så endte med å bruke den hotellputa som i utgangspunktet var bra som ryggstøtte, men litt i overkant mye til soving. Vinduet i 5. etasje, der vi bodde, lot seg...

"This was a lovely place with a quirky French charm. We loved the breakfasts (included) and the dinner in their restaurant was superb. There several cozy places to gather with complimentary coffee, etc., available 24 hours. The staff was extremely warm, congenial and attentive. The only downside was it was dark: the bathrooms in particular were so dark it was difficult to shave, apply make up or even read the bottles in the shower to see which was shampoo or conditioner. "
