"What a beautiful place. It was a bit out of the way but very close to a few bus stops. And also a taxi ride was only a couple of pounds. "

"Bed was very comfortable. A/c worked well. More spacious than photos appear. Bathroom was super clean. I would stay there again and highly recommend. I am fussy. "

"Really central location, great value and clean rooms, friendly staff and an overall very pleasant stay. Everything feels new and well-kitted out. The only two drawbacks: 1) The location isn’t currently on Google maps and finding it was a bit tricky, particularly with luggage 2) Some rooms will get some noise later at night with a bar across the road, but we were in one of these and had no problem with it at all. "

"Great little place. Definitely out of the way, but only a short taxi ride into Glenrothes, where you can catch a bus to anywhere. Freuchie was an absolutely beautiful place, worth the visit. "

"Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. "We stayed here on our 1st trip to Scotland and could not have had a better place to stay in Edinburgh. The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us with bus & train schedules, keeping our luggage after checkout, and even finding our lost cell phone! The room was clean & comfy! Would definitely stay here again! "
