Your home away from home in downtown, historic Farmington!

Located in historic downtown Farmington, minutes away from restaurants, wineries, shops, and parks. Our newly renovated carriage house has so much to offer! Our 2+ acre yard is fenced offering privacy, a fire pit, gazebo, covered patio, outdoor seating, and large deck….the city park is located next door with a private access gate offering basketball courts, pickle ball, tennis, swing sets, pavilions and playgrounds. Come enjoy a relaxing weekend or stay a week exploring the area attractions.
The space
Offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with full kitchen and laundry. 1 queen mattress and 1 full mattress. TV’s in every room, WiFi internet. 2 recliners in living room with desk.
Guest access
Guests have access to all the areas of the Carriage House and outside areas.

This place is ideal! Extremely clean, well-organized, some lovely furniture - just a comfortable, homey place for a night or a week. Kitchen had everything you need. We loved the locale, too (both Farmington and where this is located in Farmington). These two words may not go together, but the carriage house is both cozy and spacious. We are already saying we have to come back!

Overall, definitely enjoyed this place. I like history so it would be cool if there was a book talking about the history of the carriage house with older pictures. Some FYI, It’s not really private so keep that in mind. The house on the property has kids that were running around the yard. Also, someone was at the park next to the carriage house the night we were there that was playing loud music. Didn’t really bother us though. And it’s in town so of course you hear traffic but I thought they did a great job with the outside sitting areas. Just about the house, if you bring kids just be aware that the flooring squeaks along with some of the doors. I get up early so I had to be really careful The stairs were extremely loud. It sounded like someone was continuing walking down the stairs after you got to the bottom. We would laugh about that. I assumed it was the original floors. Like I said, overall it was a great place to stay and would recommend it. I felt very safe there. My son and I even walked around the block looking at the other Victorian homes. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed like they had everything you would need to cook a basic meal. One last thing that I’m not sure is normal for this area but the internet did not seem great. We had to use my data on my phone for my son to watch YouTube on his iPad. One night I tried to watch tv on one of their bedroom tv’s and it kept pausing. I’m not sure if this is normal or not.

Great spot, very peaceful setting, all the cooking options you could want. Cleanliness was top notch and the bedding was very comfy. Really enjoyed dinner on the deck then took a stroll around the neighborhood. Great experience would stay here again for sure.

Nice outside seating. Great ambience. Noce kitchen. First bedroom bed is short in length. Yard is fantastic and access to park is great if you can get the gate open. I couldn't, could have been operator error. The chickens were so friendly

Beautiful carriage house

We loved our stay in the carriage house! Check in was a breeze and we had everything we needed. Very spacious and beautifully decorated, so much attention so detail! Loved all the outdoor seating and we visited the chicken coup before we left

Excellent place to stay!

We stayed here with our grandson. The house was beautiful, clean and set up perfectly. They thought of everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the outdoor areas as well as inside. The fire pit was a nice place to relax. The balcony was great for after dinner or breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable and the recliners were amazing!There were sports equipment available to use that added more fun to our stay. It is a great location. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect!

The Carriage House is charming. It was perfectly clean and was exactly what we needed! Great location and it was fun to have access to the park next door. We hope to stay again on our future visits to Farmington.
