From the moment you enter the property, you’ll find an experience-focused getaway. Winding forest pathways with romantic lighting, a deep soaking cedar hot tub kept sparkling clean, and a superbly maintained home.

This home sits among the tree canopy and looks out over a stunning Appalachian forest, full of Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron. Expect an exquisitely styled home with a spacious open kitchen, a live-edge dining top, and a comfortable living room. Right outside, there's an expansive deck patio with a deep CEDAR SOAKING TUB.

Our tubs are kept sparkling clean with a continuous combination of bromine, copper ions, and ozone...the gold standard for a perfect hot tub experience and much better than any other Airbnb tub.

Canopy House has our only FULL KITCHEN, with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and Nespresso coffee maker (plus a French press). We provide all your coffee pods, tea bags, cookware and tools, and essentials like salt/pepper and extra virgin olive oil.

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, you can comfortably sleep three. Each bathroom has a private glass-enclosed shower with a rainfall showerhead and a custom-built maple vanity. We provide all your amenities, from ultra-plush towels to bathroom supplies and toiletries.

Nestled on a separate pathway, our TREEHOUSE SAUNA PAVILION floats in the woods and offers an unparalleled level of nature and refinement, along with ridge line views from a panoramic window. You’ve never seen anything like it! We'll send you the link to book your complimentary private session the moment you finalize your booking.

When it's time for your session, you'll take a lovely walk down to the sauna pavilion where everything will be perfectly prepared for your experience! The sauna will be cleaned, preheated, and stocked with fresh towels and water. Enjoy the gorgeous Appalachian view from the sauna, breathe in fresh Rosewood aromatherapy, then refresh in the most luxurious outdoor shower!

Similar to a spacious luxury resort, you have a private home, private cedar hot tub, and section of the property completely to yourself, as well as access to a pathway leading to the TREEHOUSE SAUNA where you'll enjoy a private 2hr session.

We only ask that you respect the privacy of any other guests by sticking to the areas and trails reserved for each specific home.

We're local and always available to help with anything you need. Occasionally, you may see us tending to the property, keeping everything in pristine condition!

We’re careful to cater our presence to the preferences of our guests…whether you're craving complete privacy, or the convenience of a friendly local guide.

Pets: Canopy House is pet-friendly! Please just add them to your guests and the pet fee will be automatically included. We only charge a flat $136 pet fee on Airbnb ($115 plus Airbnb's fees), and ask that you keep them off the beds, out of the tub, and just to our property. If you take them for a walk, they must be leashed and do not allow them onto the property of any neighbors.

Road conditions: The final quarter mile is a gravel road that can be quite bumpy at spots. Four-wheel drive is not at all required, but it is important to use the correct entrance. We’ll send directions and a marked map prior to check-in.
