We loved our time here. The house itself is wonderful and has many thoughtful touches, like throw blankets just where you would want them, charging cables, and toiletries. Our dogs had the best time in the back yard and kept demanding to go outside every five minutes. We took a couple of long walks around the property, a lovely wooded area but the freeway is closer than I expected.

Everything was great! The only bad thing is that it rain every day while we were there so the pool was dirty. Who what of thought that it would rain in July in Texas. Would definitely recommend and return to this place.

Property owner was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. My nephew loved the kids kampout loft! And the giant Christmas tree was a perfect (surprising) touch!

Lots of amenities and fun stuff to do and see. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and supplies. Didn't realize Hwy 14 was so busy so the car noise was a little distracting but there were many deer and owls that it was still a great getaway from the city. Thank you for a fantastic ladies weekend!

This place has so much to do we did not leave the property except to refill our drink cooler…even the outdoor cooler is provided by host! Pool is perfect temperature and shaded a lot of day. Great place and great stay.

Our family of 11 stayed an entire week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sam was great and tended to any questions that we had. We will be back and will also recommend to our friends. Outstanding!

We were a party of 13 with kiddos aged 18, 9, 6, 3, 2, and 1. This cabin has something for kids of all ages. Pros - pool, trampoline, playset, fire seating area for s'mores, archery, fishing, outdoor music, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, upstairs play area (although there was a constant chorus of be careful on the stairs!), indoor game cabinet. Cons - grills required some cleaning prior to use and the outdoor areas needed some sweeping dusting and general care prior to use. Normal for cabins. Wonderful stay and great service from the owner with a potential internet concern.

The cabin itself is wonderful, the property is perfect. We only had concerns with the pool and hot tub. The pool was green when we got there and so we lost a day of pool time. The hot tub was also very dirty. Fix those two things for the next person and they might return.

We had an amazing time, so relaxed, quiet and super fun activities outside. We came from Chicago driving over 15 hours and it was so worth it. I recommended 100 %. I would love to come back again and again.

This place is nothing short of paradise! I only wish we were staying there when it was a little warmer and we could use the pool! Our kiddos LOVED the trampoline and play set and we used the hot tub several times. When it was a little cooler at night, they got hours of enjoyment from the upstairs play area! The master bedroom is huge and very nicely decorated. The shower didn’t ever get hot for some reason but we were able to shower in the other bathroom so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The kitchen was amazing to cook in and they have absolutely everything you could need except maybe a few more pieces of Tupperware or ziploc bags for leftovers! Some of the knives in the knife block had been used and put back without cleaning but we cleaned them off and put them back. There were banks of chargers in every bedroom and in the living room which meant we didn’t have to bring any of our own chargers in! There were so many great touches like little soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms and dog bowls if you are bringing a furry friend. I highly recommend using the hot tub later into the evening when it’s a little cooler to avoid tons of bugs. The owner called me when the alarm kept going off (we realized it was because our dog was moving in the house when we left to go to the store). He was very polite and let us know to call if we needed anything else. Overall this was a fabulous place and I’m so happy to have made these memories with our girls!
