"The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...

"We stayed three nights and cooked every evening for ourselves. The hut has everything to feel comfortable. Checking in and out went very smoothly, very friendly. From Templehall we made two hikes: to St Abb's Head and to Eyemouth (see Wikiloc). If you want rest and privacy, this is the place! "

"So peaceful and cosy, with added extras, like a welcome basket, and electric blankets!! as the nights were chilly I'd recommend the Lodge to anyone, and there are two holiday cottages at the end of the estate too, next to the Hosts big old house. Lovely garden, trees and fields good parking too at the side of the Lodge. We loved it!"

"Lovely being near to harbour. Aparrment was well equipped with wverything you need. Great area to explore and to get into Edinburgh by train. "

The owners of the place are friendly and are only a message away and are happy to help. Hot tub was lovely clean and kept warm. The area is so quite and peaceful, easy to find Overall a great weekend away and can’t wait to book to come back again one day soon! "

"Cottage in the most stunning location and the views breathtaking. Large cottage but the main bedroom with the en-suite a small bedroom . The bedroom downstairs with the single beds , dark and not inviting, a few flies. Large kitchen , lovely agar. Plenty of pots and glasses etc.Would benefit from an American style fridge as the food for 6 people and 2 children did not all fit in the fridge. "This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!"

"What a hidden treasure we found in Dunbar! We ended up spending two days just in Dunbar as we loved the area. Having my morning coffee on the balcony where I was entertained by various birds, then going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean through my window, was perfect. The flat had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and if I ever come back, I would stay here again. The only suggestion would be some brief explanations of the electrical/hot water/heating systems. Very foreign to...
