Lake Lure Family Retreat

This 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 story lake house with a walkout basement is extremely spacious and perfect for large families and groups.
The main floor is comprised of 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room that opens up into an oversized wrap-around porch.

The upstairs has a spacious landing with little nooks for reading or journaling. The master bedroom with a queen bed has an attached full bathroom. The second master features a balcony with a roof and fan. The third room upstairs has beautiful pine shiplap ceilings.

The walkouts basement features a dining area with a large 8.5’ table, a kitchenette with an extra refrigerator, a large living room with a TV…and a secret game room behind the murphy door/ “bookshelf”. The game room has a futon, large TV, a PS4, multiple arcade games, shuffleboard, and a dart board.
The walkout basement leads to another porch that is shaded and has 2 ceiling fans, outdoor lights and 2 sectionals.
There are 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a paddle boat free to use. There are also life jackets and fishing poles.
The house is 5 minutes from the town of Evart. There is a Dairy Whip for ice cream, restaurants, a bar, bowling alley, a tube and kayak rental for the Muskegon river that will drop you off and pick up, a grocery store and a Dollar general.

We loved every second of our stay! Very relaxing with endless fun for the kids. Cassandra was awesome and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Can’t say enough about how great the experience was!

This house is decorated impeccably! I love their taste, attention to detail and the hospitable communication. I highly recommend any property by this owner as she is wonderful to communicate with and truly cares about wanting the trip to be wonderful. The owner has thought through everything! The kitchen is well stocked, there's paper products, hair bands, towels, and pretty much anything you may need for a stay. The game room is such a great hang out spot and we made many family memories around the shuffle board table. Our family had kids ages 3-18 and we all had many choices of entertainment between supplied fishing poles, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, and the awesome game room. Only downside is the wifi is not great and there is little to do in the area as it is a quiet rural area. While the inside of the house is clean and new, the patio and outside furniture, particularly the first floor patio, is harder to keep clean in this location. Can't beat this spot for a hunker down inside retreat.

This place was absolutely fantastic, very clean and looked amazing. We had such a wonderful time here getting together after 40 yrs. The weather wasn't the greatest so we hung out in the game room & on the patio. I would definitely recommend this place to all types family and friends. Thank you sooo much for letting us stay, so much to do but never enough time!
