The communication was spot on from start to finish and even when I left my very fancy pillow, Chris was quick to tell me housekeeping turn it in and he has it with him. The house was clean and had all the necessary items we needed. Also, that shower pressure was amazing and the hottest hot water ever! Perfect house for 2 couples to stay while attending a wedding there.

I, Beverly, was unable to attend the event in Eunice as planned with my husband. So, instead my Husband went and used the VRBO for the Eunice event alone. I hope he left everything neat.

We had a pleasant stay at this home—it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxed visit. The space was well cared for and had plenty of room to unwind. The kitchen was stocked with the basics for cooking, and the beds were comfortable with quality linens.The location was convenient and quiet, making it easy to get around while still feeling peaceful.Communication with the host was smooth, and check-in was simple with clear instructions.Overall, a nice, no-fuss place to stay. We’d be happy to return in the future.

At home

We had a short but sweet stay at the Bon Temp house. It is a cozy home nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I felt like I was at my aunt or grandmas home from childhood. Everything was very clean and neat. It was well equipped with what we needed. Including washer and dryer, air mattress……It was very nice to park under the carport to be out of the summer sun. The host communicated very well with us and even helped us out on a special check in request, as well as messaged us to check on how our stay was going and if we needed anything. Checking out was extremely easy (especially compared with some other places we have stayed.) We would be happy to stay here again if we are back out that way.

Visiting Family

I was impressed with the facility. Quiet neighborhood. Just two blocks from my son's home and the location of this house was perfect for our visiting for our granddaughter's graduation. Will stay here the next trip to Eunice.

Clean, Cozy and Safe

When you book a rental place and you don't know much about the area, it can be concerning. But you don't have to worry about this place! It was VERY clean, with lots of towels and extra blankets. The neighborhood was good, we felt safe coming and going. And the hosts recommendations for places to eat was great! We especially LOVED the bakery suggestion. Downtown Eunice is so cute.

Nice place

It had everything we needed for the weekend. My husband was attending an event at Chicot state park and needed somewhere closer than our house so this worked out for us. A couple of things that should be considered though —when it’s cold, there’s only heat on the living room window unit and space heaters for the bedroom. Space heaters can be dangerous when sleeping or left in hands of people that don’t know how to use them safely (which is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5). Contrary to popular belief, it can get really cold in La and usually it’s unexpected. Combine that with high humidity, possible wind, and an elevated home - that will make it uncomfortably cold. The entire week before arrival, La low temps were mid to low 30’s and it was freezing in the home when we arrived. There is heat on the window unit in the living room but not the bedroom. There is a space heater in the bedroom, and we used that to heat up before going to sleep but absolutely would not keep it running while sleeping. We kept the living room unit heat on 80 Saturday to not come back into a freezing home that night since we’d be gone most of the day. My suggestion would be to at least have a window unit with heat in that room also for safety reasons. The tub drain plug was broken. Most people probably don’t take baths in rentals and the only reason we noticed is bc my husband likes to soak in a warm bath after intense runs. That was not a huge deal but something to be repaired.

Quick overnight stay

Perfect place and location for our purpose. I was graduating from LSUE. My family came with me to attend the ceremony. It was perfect for us to be in one spot instead of several hotel rooms. The place was great, great location, easy to get to where we needed, and had all the amenities that we needed.
