"Dining at the pousada leaves much to be desired. The staff was very attentive however it appears that the problem was in the kitchen. It took us about an hour and a half to get our order. I ordered a steak which was raw and was served with fried potato peels. My wife ordered risotto which was good. There were only two other tables with customers. There were also flies buzzing about the dining room."

"A unique historic hotel, loaded with the charm. Very friendly and helpful staff and wonderful breakfast buffet. Only downside was the air conditioning did not work well. Fortunately for us, we had beautiful weather with cool nights so sleeping with open windows was not a problem. "
