"The views were extraordinary and the location, peaceful. The accommodations were better than expected with simple amenities free of charge, such as coffee, beverages and snacks, with replenishment upon request at no extra charge. Communication was prompt. "We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

"Everything was clean and comfortable. The beach that was walking distance was quite nice to hang out at. Our hosts were attentive and responsive. The area was quiet, scenic and a easy drive to restaurants and other beaches."

"stayed 11 days Feb '26. This is a condo complex. Upon arrival the complex appears dated/tired and the grass was tall. A crew did show to get the landscaping back into shape. Located off a main road and centrally located. Can get to most parts of the island within a 35 minute drive. 5 minutes down the street is a grocery store, another 5 minutes to popular La Reine Chicken Shack.
