"Air conditioning was great and shower was always hot. It’s not your luxury hotel experience but for the location in town and the price it’s a phenomenal choice for a vacation on St Thomas. Staff was incredibly nice and it was nice they provide pool and beach towels. The included breakfast isn’t very substantial and the only microwave is in the common area. "Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price."

"We enjoyed our stay and view of ships and boats from our balcony. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was ok, just need to be a little softer when talking to guest on the phone (only one lady...don't recall her name) but overall stay was nice."

"What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! "This is a great place and a great value. If I could change only one little thing it would be to get the water in the shower a little more hot; it’s not cold but not quite hot—a little over lukewarm. I’m sure this could be a quick fix from a maintenance engineer. There is a little road noise, as well, which you can’t help being that close to the main road. "What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"
