"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking but a little tight. Breakfast with a small fee was excellent. Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. No window. Only one small skylight"

Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. "The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York."

"Had a lovely stay here. Didn’t interact too much with the hotel as we had other plans but where we did staff were very polite and keen to help. We had a lovely, clean room, where it was nice and quiet and we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Air con was amazing here over the hot weather too. The hotel is also very reasonable for the price and very walkable into the heart of the city too. Would highly recommend. Thank you."
