Fiber-Optic Cable T.V.- WiFi- Internet Is lightning fast. 60 inch Sharp 4K HD Flat screen on swivel wall mount. 14 Foot "Smoker Craft" Aluminum fishing boat with Minn Kota electric trolling motor provided for guests unlimited use, gas grill with full tank ready to start the BBQ now. This amazing little lodge/cabin is the only structure on Kaunonen lake. Featuring 80 acres of complete privacy, located in the heart of the "Iron Range" Embarrass Minnesota, less than 15 miles to "Giants Ridge" or "Babbitt" less than 30 Minutes to "Ely" or "Lake Vermilion" 2-bedrooms and 2- bathrooms, modern interior, and of course the "VIEWS" open year round. Don't short change your experience on some tiny hotel or condo with no room to really relax. Have your own private lodge on your own private lake. If you can top that. Up North Slice of Paradise

The Little Lodge is exactly as was pictured. Kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed, and the bed was so comfortable it made sleeping in a breeze. I loved having my morning coffee on the back deck looking out at the lake, enjoying the many different birds. It's a very easy drive from Virginia or Babbit, and getting to Ely is also super easy and quick. I work a high pressure job, and have a hard time relaxing, but this place was wonderful. We used the boat and spent a day in the sun on the lake. Everything was set up to make our stay easy. I definitely plan on coming back. Thank you Mitch!!

Just a city girl hanging out in the forest!

I absolutely love this cozy place! This is my 3rd stay and every time it’s a little better than the last! It has just about everything you would need to be comfortable, even has WiFi! That was a plus for the short time I had to work. The view from the cabin and on the deck is pure beauty! The host is always available and very helpful. I’ll be back!

August 2024 getaway.

2 fishing buddies just looking for a place to stay. This was a very peaceful getaway. The cabin is about half an hour from any town, but thats ok since we were fishing multiple lakes. Why pay big money for just a place to sleep when your going to other lakes!

Fantastic anniversary getaway.

Secluded, quiet, and peaceful, exactly as represented in the description and pictures. We enjoyed both the indoors and outdoors amenities of the cabin and lake. Our 3 day stay was over far too quickly.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little getaway! Owner was very friendly and helpful with the issues we had with our email (used apple relay). If you enjoy stunning views of nature, You’ll enjoy having your morning coffee/tea in the little “sunroom area” , the patio, or the dining area. The washer and dryer were also a nice bonus, as to not have to do laundry when you’re vacation is over. Will absolutely return soon!

A little piece of heaven

Have stayed a few times and we absolutely love this little house. So quiet and peaceful , just what we need to get away from our lives in the city and appreciate GODS country Randy is an absolute gem, very easily to get a hold of and super kind We will be back for sure!

Nice location house needs work and new furniture

Mitch was a good host, the property was in a nice location. The house needs work, under sink was rotted, toilets are small and in tight spaces. The furniture was uncomfortable and in bad shape. There were lots of mousetraps and poison. The walls and trim are going. It would be a great place if you put some work into it. As it is it works but don't expect to much. The wind blew thru the place so we had to have the furnace cranked up to where it ran often. Will I be back I doubt it.
