Fiber-Optic Cable T.V.- WiFi- Internet Is lightning fast. 60 inch Sharp 4K HD Flat screen on swivel wall mount. 14 Foot "Smoker Craft" Aluminum fishing boat with Minn Kota electric trolling motor provided for guests unlimited use, gas grill with full tank ready to start the BBQ now. This amazing little lodge/cabin is the only structure on Kaunonen lake. Featuring 80 acres of complete privacy, located in the heart of the "Iron Range" Embarrass Minnesota, less than 15 miles to "Giants Ridge" or "Babbitt" less than 30 Minutes to "Ely" or "Lake Vermilion" 2-bedrooms and 2- bathrooms, modern interior, and of course the "VIEWS" open year round. Don't short change your experience on some tiny hotel or condo with no room to really relax. Have your own private lodge on your own private lake. If you can top that. "go for it" otherwise please come and enjoy the hospitality i always deliver to my renters.

Cute lakeside cottage on a beautiful piece of rural property. Meticulously clean cottage. Kitchen was well equipped. Living room has an extremely comfortable reclining sofa that looked and felt brand new. Also a comfortable recliner chair. Nice big screen TV. Cabinet full of DVDs. Stereo, board games and puzzles. Comfortable mattress in the master bedroom and trundle bed in the other bedroom that would be ideally suited for children or teenagers. Great outdoor space with grill, fire pit and patio area. Large laundry room and nice 3 season sunroom. Beautiful view of the lake from the dining area. Our host Mitch responded quickly to our questions and went out of his way to ensure that our needs and comfort were met. We highly recommend "Little Lodge" and we look forward to staying again in the future.

The wind kept us from fishing as much as we would have liked but it was still a nice place to just hang out for the weekend. My husband has a bad back and the bed was comfortable for him. This rarely happens when we stay places so that was a big win for us.

Great little cabin. If you're looking for upscale cabin, this is not for you. If you're looking for a perfect little cabin to fish or ride, this is the place to go!! Access to ATV trails nice and close, no trailering just get in sxs and go.

We had the most wonderful stay at this cute cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the charm of the property. The private access to the water made it easy to spend hours casting a line, and we caught several fish. Great for our Family

The full set of extra amenities in the kitchen were appreciated, we liked the ability to do laundry, and the view was excellent. Mitch was great in communicating with us and making this a stress-free stay. If you want to go to Northern Minnesota, you won't find a better value than the "Little Lodge!"

Up North Slice of Paradise

The Little Lodge is exactly as was pictured. Kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed, and the bed was so comfortable it made sleeping in a breeze. I loved having my morning coffee on the back deck looking out at the lake, enjoying the many different birds. It's a very easy drive from Virginia or Babbit, and getting to Ely is also super easy and quick. I work a high pressure job, and have a hard time relaxing, but this place was wonderful. We used the boat and spent a day in the sun on the lake. Everything was set up to make our stay easy. I definitely plan on coming back. Thank you Mitch!!
