"A grand property with lots of space, rooms & parking Fully equipped with everything you need and more We had a range of ages from 0-80 and there was lots to do for everyone: hot tubs, snooker, air hockey, tv, and a perfect venue for a game of children’s hide & seek! Couldn’t fault it we had the best weekend, brought in private caterers for an 3 course meal and partied in the cellar bar.. all in all made memories as a family that we will treasure "

"Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. "

"Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days...

"The Lodge has everything you need for a peaceful getaway. It’s modern and comfortable and overlooks fields so completely private with hot tub, fire pit and bbq all ready to use The Nags Head pub does good food and is walking distance. Our Host David is lovely and put up a Happy Birthday Banner for my Hubby nice touch ⭐️ "

"3 families (6 adults and rest teenagers / kids) get together for 4 nights Had supermarket deliver for first night and spent the rest of the week enjoying each others company ! The kids loved the games room, swimming pool , we set up badminton and was other garden games too - we spent evenings playing bored games, so much quality time and phones / tablets hardly touched !! Plenty of space to spread out too and spend time alone or with different groups of people ! We also had enough space...

"Beautiful accommodation very well equipped and presented. Set in a stunning location. We were very pleased to have selected Lackford Lakes Barns. Will visit again. "

"Stayed for 4 nights, beds are the most comfortable we’ve had so far in any house we’ve stayed in, very clean and comfortable, home from home basically. Living area comfy, bathroom and shower all good. Kitchen fully equipped with the use of basic necessities such as sugar, salt & pepper, cling film etc."

"Very peaceful. Loads of dog friendly places to go. Great pubs only 20min walk. We were left to our own devices which is just what we wanted. Rookery Nooke is very well equipped with everything to make your stay as lovely as possible. We will definitely stay there again. Everyone we met in the area were so welcoming. 10/10"

"The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ( even a cafetiere ). Finding that there was a sofa bed was good. The approach along the stairs isn't wonderful, a bit drab and unloved but once in the apartment, all is good. There is some street parking right outside the Stratford and we were lucky and bagged a space, otherwise free parking nearby in other streets. "
