WHY DISALVO LAKEHOUSE
Guests rave about the private shoreline, endless outdoor fun, and how easy it is to keep everyone entertained — from boating and lake days to games on the deck. This is the kind of place families return to year after year, making it one of the most loved Door County vacation rentals for creating lifelong memories.

NOTES
-To ensure a seamless check-in experience, guests are required to review and sign our standard rental agreement and complete a quick check-in form prior to arrival. This helps us comply with local regulations and provide the best possible stay.
-In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, the house is equipped with a ring doorbell camera to monitor the driveway and the front entry.
-Although we have a relaxed cancellation policy, we still incur the 4% cc fee. Your refund will be in full, minus the 4% cc fee. This is detailed in the guest contract.
-The primary renter must be 25 years or older.
Check in at 4pm. Check out at 10am. No smoking in the property. Quiet hours respected after 10pm and before 8am.

The DiSalvo Lakehouse is more than a beautifully appointed house… it’s a “HOME”. It has every amenity you could ever wish for ( spectacular water view, well stocked kitchen - both inside and out), lovely fireplace / family room , coffee bar, wine refrigerator- etc) . More importantly, the love and care put into this space in order to make all feel welcome was evident the moment we arrived. We have been renting houses in this area for our family fallgathering for 30 years. This house checked every box- and then some. Fabulous

Great Lake House

We loved the privacy of this house. It's tucked away in a quiet area of Door County. The home itself is really cool and worked perfectly for us. We had no issues/concerns while we were there. It's well equipped for guests. The property owner checked in with us to make sure all was good. I'd happily book this again.

Great location for a family vacation

The lake house was perfect for our family vacation (5 adults and our 1 year old granddaughter). There was everything you would need for a vacation by Lake Michigan from making meals to recreation. You can swim and kayak or paddle board right from the backyard. It's a rocky shore, but great for adults and kids. We took our granddaughter to Sand Bay Park, just a 6 minute drive, for her first sand beach experience. We made use of the gas grill, outdoor pizza oven and Blackstone grill. The Blackstone was great for making big family breakfasts! We have been visiting Door County for 46 years, staying or camping in various locations. I highly recommend Rowley's Bay. It is a quiet spot, but still close to all of the tourist attractions and restaurants.

Serenity on the lake

Beautiful property on the lake. Loved watching the sun rise over the lake every morning while having coffee on the deck. Great star gazing, too! Over the course of the week, we were a party of 7-9. The kitchen and outdoor grills were really well appointed for our family meals at home. The quality appliances and mattresses- made for a comfortable stay. We also used the family games, kayak, water toys and, of course, the hammock. Hosts were communicative and provided lots of suggestions for area activities. We had a great week!

Wonderful stay in our favorite area

We had such a great time at DiSalvo House! First off, the home and property are just beautiful. They definitely put thought into every aspect of their guest’s stay. From extra blankets, pillows, and towels, clear instructions on how to use all the fun cooking toys, quick responses to questions, and so much more, it’s instantly become my favorite vacation rental in Door County!

Beautifully appointment lakefront home well suited for large families. Our group made much use of the kitchen, pizzs oven, grills and blackstone. The wine fridge was also very nice to have. Kids enjoyed the variety of toys. Beds were comfy. Quiet road with no through traffic.

Better than Expected

This home was everything we imagined, and more. It was such a beautiful and private location. Being on the water was absolutely breathtaking. The home was so clean and provided everything you needed. There were books, board games, and hundreds of DVDs. The best bedroom was definitely the 2nd floor bunk room. It had its own bathroom! I would love to stay here again and I know my family enjoyed it as well.

Lovely property in a quiet beautiful location right on the lake. Responsive hosts. Comfy beds. We enjoyed experimenting with the pizza oven. Unfortunately we did a lot of exploring so didn't use the other amenities but it was great having the options.

Beautiful Getaway on the Lake

The DiSalvo Lakehouse is incredible. From the first moment we stepped through the door until we left the property did not stop "wowing" us. The home itself is beautiful and the host provides plenty of things to make your stay great. Various types of outdoor grills/cooking surfaces, yard games, kayaks and canoes. Everything was great and I would not hesitate to book this place again.

Family Birthday Celebration

The DiSalvo Lakehouse was one of the best places our family has stayed over the years. The Lakehouse was in a great location, was very clean, and the hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We all would love to come back again in the summer when we can spend more time on the deck and by the water!

Rowleys Bay get-away

We really enjoyed our get-away. All six members of our party agreed that this was a top-notch property. Every room in the house was tastefully appointed and well stocked. That is also true of the outdoor amenities as well. We were provided with clear instructions and guides, and helpful hints and suggestions. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their lake home, and insure that guests have n enjoyable time.

Rowley's Bay Gem

This VRBO was extremely clean, well kept inside and out and was well stocked from the essentials to all the kitchen supplies you need. All the comforts of home with a beautiful back drop of lake Michigan. Will definitely stay her again.

Exceeded Our Expectations

The house exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few group meals. It was well equipped. We made pizzas one evening in the outdoor pizza oven and they turned out amazing. We rode the bikes around the neighborhood, went fishing, kayaking and played table tennis. We didn't use the kayaks since we had our own, but plan to use them and the paddle boards on our next visit. Everything at the property was top quality. The beds were comfortable and the living room with large TV allowed us to watch football games and a movie from the massive DVD collection. The lake view from the bench by the water is where we had our coffee in the morning. It was truly a wonderful experience. They really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. We did have some bumps in the road. We arrived the day that Rowley's Bay Resort caught fire. We weren't able to get to the property because of firetrucks and then we needed to wait for them to turn the electric back on to the property. Micah had a house lined up for us in case we couldn't get in that evening. It could have been very stressful trying to relocate 7 people, but Micah stayed on top of the situation which allowed us to enjoy an evening watching the sunset. We look forward to our next visit.
