This little house felt like a visit to Grandma’s. We especially enjoyed the porch. There was even a little walking path. The whole experience was comfortable and charming.

Beautifully furnished cottage close to town. Great porch to relax on while bird watching or seeing the deer eat from the apple trees. Although it was close to a full moon during our stay, you could see the stars and enjoy the beautiful fall night sky. Interior was nice and cozy and the gas fireplace added to the ambiance. Ellison Bay is a great area to stay, it has a great local restaurant, The Mink River Basin, and also a well stocked general store. The location of the cottage is perfect and makes you feel like your not around all the hustle and bustle of Door County. Thanks Myron and Andrea for allowing us to stay at your cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We definitely will be back!Mike and Tammy M.

Peace and Solitude

This property was gorgeous and quiet, offering a great time of solitude away from the business of life. My wife and I enjoyed how remote this place was yet easily accessible to all of what Door County has to offer.

Place matched the description very well and worth the price. Very cozy, cottage feel and neat building. Its a little secluded, which has pros and cons. Quiet and peaceful but you have to drive to get to food or activities. We had very weak cell service so the lack of WiFi was annoying at times but lots of the area had poor service so I wouldn't blame it on the property so much as emphasized that WiFi is nice to have by Ellison bay.

Perfect private place for anyone wanting to be away from it all. We had bad luck with the mosquitoes, but that’s uncontrollable. On clear nights such as what we enjoyed, the stars are outstanding. House is well outfitted and check-in and out a breeze.

Historic Cabin in the woods

Our family loved our stay at the Mink River Road Cottage. The location is a perfect combination of seclusion and proximity to local coffee shops, restaurants and beaches. Myron is a great host and he was very helpful.

Summer retreat

My family of 5, children aged 13, 11, and 7, traveled to Door Co. for the 1st time in 4 yrs and the cottage was the perfect starting point for everything we wanted to do. The property is secluded and beautifully situated while still being close enough to all the things we wanted to do. We loved our time here and look forward to next time!

Close to the hustle and bustle but a quiet place to sit and relax. The place was clean, we’ll set up. We all enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place for you to stay.
