The screened-in deck is one of the best gathering spots at The Goathouse. Set up like an outdoor living room, it gives the group a comfortable place to enjoy morning coffee, watch a game by the fire, or spend an evening outside without giving up the comforts of the cabin.
A stepped walkway leads down toward Turniptown Creek. The outdoor swing sits along the way, with the firepit farther below near the creek. Settle into the swing for a quiet break or gather around the firepit and listen to the water flowing nearby.

• Turniptown Creek can be seen and heard from the firepit and swing area, but direct creek access is limited and is not guaranteed
• The mountain driveway is steep, so please use caution when arriving and departing
