This stunning lodge, part of the KRISTY COLLECTION, offers 8000 square feet of luxury with lakefront and mountain views. Featuring 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and 2 half baths, it provides year-round entertainment for all ages.

Exceptional Accommodations
The main floor boasts a massive stacked-stone fireplace and a dining table for 22 guests. With five main bedrooms each with a king bed, another king bedroom, and two bunk rooms with four queen beds each, the lodge is ideal for large gatherings. This blend of luxury and rustic design ensures a comfortable stay for family gatherings, corporate retreats, or friends wanting quality time together. Sleeps 33 based on 2 people per queen and king beds, and 1 person per twin and sleeper sofa.

Enjoy multiple living areas and a covered party porch with an outdoor fireplace. This property is even more stunning in person! There were about 16 of us who booked it for a birthday and honestly we couldn't have been happier with the house, amenities, and location. We cooked huge meals every night and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The lake was a delight and all of the rooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed. There's plenty of space for people to do their own thing or gather in groups. The outdoor area with the grill and fireplace was everyone's favorite. Minor considerations:The two bunk rooms are connected so there is less privacy that I had imagined. Worth noting if you have a bunch of adults who want their own space, or have people who snore. We ran out of and had to replenish dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Still, this place is basically perfect and I would recommend it to anyone! We hope to revisit it next year.

Wheat Family Vacation

The cabin and property are beautiful. Everything in the house is as appears in the pictures. We loved the space for our large family with 11 adults and 10 children. Lots of room for everyone. The communication with the owners and manager was perfect. Lots of things to do in this area but we spent 2 of our days at the cabin Loved it. We will return here when we vacation to Blue Ridge area again.

We had a great 4-generation family vacation here. The house is lovely with plenty of rooms to accommodate everyone. The decor is high-end. There is now a full sized second refrigerator in the mud room which helped tremendously. Parking was more spacious than we thought it would be - we fit 10 cars at one point. The lake was a lot of fun yet quiet and secluded. Everything worked - there were no surprises. Wifi was good. TVs, though plentiful, were all differently configured and not easy to figure out - but it was July so no one was really watching them anyway. The house and yard was immaculately cleaned with all the linens and kitchen supplies expected. Overall highly recommended.

An Amazing Place

We held a family vacation with 28 people, with 15 being under the age of 11. This beautiful home exceeded our expectations in every respect. We never felt crowded. Given the ages of the youngest kids and the multi-level set up, safety was a concern going -in, but was not a problem. Communication was excellent. We will be back.

Perfect Family Reunion

Our family of 18 had a wonderful long-weekend at Lake Buckhorn Lodge. Ranging in age from 9 months to mid-60s, everyone had a great time. The living spaces provided plenty of room for us to gather, and the kitchen was well-equipped for a large group. The incredible sports bar/game room kept us all entertained. We especially enjoyed having use of the kayaks and canoes for the lake. We plan to return for our next family reunion.

Awesome place

There were 9 of us staying here and EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was everything we hoped for and more. Owner responded almost immediately to the one issue we had (we couldn’t figure out which fuse blew out and talked us thru it)-and we were right back to enjoying this beautiful home

Had an awesome stay at this property. We had 22 people comfortably stay, only a couple people doubled up in beds. Incredibly comfortable house for this many people. Spring weekend

We enjoyed the house! We recommend it. The covered patio and view of the lake were perfect for morning coffee. The living area and dining room table were big enough for our large group. We visited the town of Blue Ridge one day. Nice shops and restaurants.

Wonderful week...

Our family stays together in the Blue Ridge area every year the week between Christmas and the New Year. It's a little difficult to find a property to give us all the space needed. This home was perfectly laid out for all of us to hang out together and also separate when we needed a little space. The grounds are wonderful and we would love to come back again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the lake. The property manager was very easy to contact and extremely attentive. We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful!

We stayed in this cabin for Thanksgiving week and it was absolutely wonderful! There were 18 of us; ages 8 to 83. The cabin was everything the description states and more. We fit comfortably in the cabin with room to spare. The kids loved it; it was accommodating to my elderly parents, too. The kitchen had everything we needed for making anything such as a large pot of gumbo to all of our Thanksgiving meal sides. We ordered turkeys from a local meat shop which was amazing, too. The beds and rooms were large with plenty of bathrooms. Most rooms had a private bathroom which was ideal for our group. The property manager was super sweet and answered all of our questions timely. We love to hike; there’s a small trail close to the house with a creek that leads to the pond. It was cold so we did not take advantage of the canoes everyday; but we stayed outside a good bit of the time we were there. The large outdoor seating area had a nice fire place and there was an additional fireplace we gathered around down closer to the pond most nights. I could go on, you won’t be disappointed!

We would stay here again.

Our leadership team stayed 3 nights and had an excellent experience. There were so many fun and relaxing environments inside and outside of the cabin that we didn't have time to use them all. It was perfect and the team wants to come back next year. A great experience from booking to checkout.

Amazing!

The cabin and the property exceeded our expectations. We had a family gathering that consisted of 26 adults and children and the cabin accommodated us all perfectly! Everything was well stocked in the kitchen to prepare meals for such a large group. The massive game room and waterfall shower were big hits. We had a birthday celebration for my wife and her favorite part was the huge dining room table that we could all gather at and enjoy our meals. As an added bonus, Heather from Kristy Collection made the stay even more enjoyable with her professional, helpful accessibility before, during and after our stay!
