Convient location, but private setting.Plenty of room, comfortable beds. Hot tub spotless. Good stove, plenty of room in the refrigerator. Just a few more blankets, but not a negative. Whole house was consistently warm throughout. Plenty of coffee selection! My kids,,and their kids had a wonderful weekend.We plan on taking a week this summer, and return.

A lovely getaway

We enjoyed the cabin very much. There were plenty of spaces for us to gather, or to have a quiet moment alone. My husband fell in love with the Blackstone grill and grilled everything from hamburgers and hotdogs to pancakes and bacon.We would suggest that you replace the lower rack in the dishwasher, so that the lower spray can move freely.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying in Ellicottville. The log cabin was very nice and the fireplace was beautiful. The location is very convenient, being about 5 minutes from town and skiing. The host was very responsive and helpful.

beautiful place to stay

we had a great time, loved the hot tub, the little shops are great, brewery was a great place to eat, only negative was we thought the kitchen and dining area needed to have brighter lights. way to dark. would recommend anyone to stay!

Cabin

The best features were the pond front porch and fire pit. The location was very convenient and close to Ellicottville and shopping. One portion of the front porch was a bit rough plus there was a abandoned grill on the porch that should be removed. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and serviced while we were there which was promptly attended to. The combination clothes washer and dryer took forever to do a load of laundry typically two and a half to three hours with an additional time added for drying.

Great property! Very comfortable.

Perfect for girls weekend! Hot tub was great, furniture was comfortable, kitchen well supplied. Covered porches were nice for winter. We stayed in March. Fireplace was great. This property is remote, yet minutes from the action in Ellicottville. Clean and comfortable. We will be back! A big thank you to our host Michael!

Rare find. Secluded, yet close to everything

This property has it all- outdoor exploring, water activities, fire pit, decks to relax, with beautiful indoor space for small or large gatherings. Highly recommended.

Best vacation ever

Super great, quiet location. Kids loved fishing and swimming in the pond. We had days of amazing hikes through the 25 acres of beautiful nature at its finest. This will be a repeat spot for our family to return at various times during the year. The host was the best!! He put up a bunch of extra beds for all my kiddos and even made a special trip to take care of a hornets nest for us. Loved this vacation. Grocery and gas within walking for bait and fridge fill. Great eateries. Looking forward to returning soon.

Beautiful property!

This was my third time staying here! 6 of us went for a girls weekend. We enjoyed lunch and shopping downtown and cozying up by the fireplace at night. Michael is always very helpful and his house and property are beautiful!

Big beautiful home close to town!!

I travel to ellicottville once a year and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The house is huge and perfect for groups. It had plenty of land with beautiful scenery leaving you with plenty of privacy but it’s also close to town (walking distance). Will be booking again next year. Highly recommend. Also, the host went above and beyond on multiple occasions and is very quick to respond if you have any questions!!!

Summer Weekend

I traveled to Ellicottville with a group of friends for a golf weekend. The property was perfect for the weekend. The amenities are great with lots of room for lawn games, the pond for fishing, the kayaks that are provided, and an awesome fire pit right by the water. Michael was quick to respond to anything we needed. Hoping to come back again for another weekend in the future!

Great for a weekend getaway

Rented this house for a weekend to celebrate a friend who will be getting married soon. The house was gorgeous, in a great location, and perfect for our group! The amenities available were fantastic! We will keep this house in mind for another weekend getaway again!

Beautiful property!

The house and property are beautiful! We had two families for a total of 10 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. My husband enjoyed taking the kayak out on the pond every morning. And the kids loved walking to Tim hortons in the morning. We also walked to steelbound and the new bar, fatteys, right across the street. We ended our days with campfires by the pond. Michael was very helpful and easy to work with. Definitely plan to come back!

Great getaway weekend!

Six friends and I rented the property for a weekend getaway of fun and games. We had a blast! The property was as advertised and the owner was very responsive. We did not need anything during our stay, but it was nice to knowing we were in good hands. Plenty of lawnspace for games and a campfire, and very close to the main town. A+ stay

Cabin life close to town

Great location. Rustic cabin vibe. Nice big property to hike and explore. Fun little lake with kayaks. Great porches. Super fun town of Ellicottville with lots of good restaurants and shops. Golf and Sky Adventures at Holiday Valley was excellent. Loved the big stone indoor fireplace.
