A Short's Walk - Sandy Lakefront with Spa / Hot Tub and Kayaks!

This is a gorgeous newly remodeled home right on Bass Lake in hip and trendy Elk Rapids! It includes a private sandy lakefront, large lakefront deck, NEW YEAR-ROUND SPA / HOT TUB, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes, a bonfire ring, a 1-car garage, and a gas grill. Plus high-speed Wi-Fi and live streaming television! Gorgeous lakeviews from inside! Grassy yard for kids. Washer and dryer. Also just a short approx. 150 yard walk from the famous Short's Brewery where you can drink and relax!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is just outside of downtown Elk Rapids on Bass Lake. It is very close (approx. 150 yards) from the famous Short's Brewery in Elk Rapids, where you can dine and enjoy Short's famous beers. It's just a short drive (less than 5 minutes) to downtown Elk Rapids, which has a fun collection of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. There's also a very nice beach on Lake Michigan at the end of the downtown area.

Outside of Elk Rapids, the cottage is close to the famous Torch Lake, Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey, all of which provide a myriad of things to do and see.

Guests have access to the entire house, including the garage.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

(1) HOT TUB: To keep the hot tub clean, smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while in the hot tub. If the hot tub is left excessively dirty, guests will be charged for draining, cleaning, and refilling the hot tub.
(2) FIREPLACE: Please note that guests are not permitted to use the indoor wood fireplace.

Elk Rapids

The location and house were excellent. Bass lake is nice and quiet, good for kayaking! The Loon platform in the lake nearby is fun to watch from the fire pit but don’t get too close in a kayak. The water from the house in the shower and sinks is incredibly hard which was the only complaint we had on our weekend stay.

Girlfriend Time

The house was clean and well equipped. The lake is beautiful, at least from the inside looking out, our weather was a little dicey. 1 full bathroom and 1 with toilet and shower, no sink. Tabitha was great to deal with as needed. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking and a great location. Would recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

A great vacation destination!

From the beautiful view to the comfy beds to the cleanly hot tub, this place is definitely a spot to return to! All appliances work and were clean, check in process was a breeze, and the grounds were gorgeous.

Winter Wonderland

We had a fantastic winter getaway here. We came in just before a big snowstorm and watching it through the largo patio windows across the lake was beautiful. The hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. We also enjoyed the large kitchen space.

Enjoyable place and location

Wife and I enjoyed our stay, tried some ice fishing but they didn’t cooperate very well. Very close to Short’s Brewery(75yards) Tabitha was great to communicate with and very helpful, definitely would stay again

Had a wonderful weekend

Had a wonderful stay. Tabitha made check in easy. Very comfortable space, clean and great location on the water. Close to many points of interest. Traveled to Charlevoix, Petoskey and Traverse City. Will definitely stay here again.

This house is located in a great area. However, there were bugs on the beds upstairs, and the main sliding door did not lock. As a group of young women, we were disturbed by these occurrences.

Loved the seclusion!

Loved the neighbors and the neighborhood. Very quite. Nice place to walk our dogs down a dead end road with no traffic. House was very clean. We loved the fire pit! Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come again!

Perfect Location! Family and Pet Friendly.

House has very clean and thoughtfully stocked. Excellent location with a quick walk to Shorts Brewery. Beautiful beach “Old Sun Bather Beach” was a short walk, but across a four lane highway, too fast for small children walking on a curve. Lake view is very nice, quiet amd secluded. Kayaks were fun for kids. Downtown is quant and good food choices. Wish the home had air conditioning. Family had fun!

Absolutely wonderful!

We had a fabulous visit! The location of this house is perfect, with a small calm lake right out the back door and the big beautiful bay just a couple minutes walk. It has everything you need and more!

Beautiful lake. Quiet. It was nice to use the kayaks and floats in the lake. House worked well too. Plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. We enjoyed our stay. House is close to the town of Elk Rapids. Nice location.

Perfect Place to stay

Our family enjoyed everything about this house and the location. Walking distance to the beach on Grand Traverse Bay, Walking distance to downtown Elk Rapids. Several restaurants within walking distance. House was very secluded in the woods next to a beautiful lake. We used the kayaks provided every day. The boys used the hot tub. Beds were extremely comfortable. The house does not have AC, but we ran the fans provided and slept very comfortably. Kitchen was really nice and updated. This place has everything you need for a great vacation stay. We will definitely be back.
