"This property was a short walk from family as we came for a funeral. Also near several miles of walking near the university and river area. Convenient with the kitchen for us, and there's a dishwasher. Big one bedroom apartment was relaxing vs a hotel. Communication via text for the access code was seamless. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Monaco! Parking could definitely be a challenge if you aren’t familiar with downtown PGH and the way things operate, but valet was quick, helpful and very kind. "This hotel was extremely quiet in the evening. There are signs posted enforcing quiet hours with zero tolerance for any noise past 10 (11?) to 7am. It was exactly what I hope for - a good night’s sleep. The room was very clean. The entire property is clean. It was a pleasure to be there. There are people who stay on longer than a few days for what clearly looked work related. It’s a nice mix. One thing I didn’t expect was the lack of silverware, even plastic utensils. "So I decided to ride my bike from Pittsburg to NYC. My plan was to find a hotel to drive to and spend the night, park my car long term, ride 6 days to NYC and then take Amtrak back to the hotel, spend the night and drive back home. I knew when I called this hotel and talked to Holly this was the place. Free long term parking and a warm friendly inviting voice promising this was the place! I'm happy to say Holly was right on all counts! Warm inviting staff when I checked in both times. No fuss...
