I booked this on Expedia after reading all the great reviews. We arrived at 4 to check in and was welcomed by a line of people that were not actually in line and just waiting cause there was no clear indication of where a line was to start. Then I was informed that we would be charged an additional $10 per day which was indicated on Expedia I assumed it was for parking but apparently it was for fire code...I just thought for the $750 I paid for this xXL Motel 6 the fire code fee would have been included.
We checked in went to our room and there was a work crew that looked like a band of carnival workers outside with a dog chained to the truck next to our room which startled my daughter. After we got in the room things seemed fine but I noticed pealing paint and wall paper, mold around the tub because the shower curtain was to short and after we showered pools of water were on the floor. When we got ready to go to the park we noticed the door was barely hanging by a hair on the dead bold so between that and the 1968 chain slide I think a hard fart could blow that door open. We finally left and one of the work crew was sitting on the side walk and said have a good day with a crooked smile and cig hanging from his mouth and a look on his face that reminded me of deliverance. We got back after our day at the park and had to hurry like crazy to get to the restaurant which closes at 9pm where we got seated and had a relatively ok meal.
