The rooms were clean, but the strong smell of smoke was overwhelming. On top of that, the guests were extremely loud, you could hear everything. When we arrived, there was live music playing, and it was far too loud. The smoke odor throughout the property was very unpleasant.
We did not receive the room upgrade or the $25 credit that had been discussed beforehand. When I mentioned it at the front desk, the staff said it was not included in our reservation. After I insisted, the front desk agent checked with the manager, who said it would be honored, but in the end, we never received anything.
Later that night, we went to the lobby and were told to eat something and assured that we would not be charged, but this situation was also unclear.
The bed itself was acceptable, but much too firm for our comfort.
Overall, if you can tolerate constant noise and heavy smoke smells, the hotel may be manageable. However, despite some efforts by the staff, this was one of our worst stays.
