"Cute little cabin with plenty of space and amenities. Bed comfort was just "okay" but served us fine for our one-night stay. A few dining options in this quaint little town. Great communication from owner."

"This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!"

"This place is amazing. If you’re adventurous it’s a bit of a drive and absolutely worth it. You can’t get more secluded than this. Hot tub on the porch. Bring food and drinks!"

"BEAUTIFUL property with all of the comforts of home. Manager (offsite) was super responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"Great 2 bedroom waterside cottage. Beautiful view. Surrounded by trees. Loved the hot tub especially with privacy/ wind blocking wall. Close to the local town and great stop around ring road. Very well equipped house and kitchen for cooking / grilling. "

"From the outside the property looks a bit run down but the inside of the apartment was really lovely if just a bit rustic. The owners were lovely people and my kids enjoyed meeting the animals. Great price for one night. "

"We had the room with kitchenette on the back side of the property. The room was spacious and had a TV that offered some English speaking programming. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the necessary kitchen wares to prepare a meal. The drive to the guesthouse is scenic with 2 nice size waterfalls along the way. The town itself was very picturesque. The owner communicated with us prior to arrival. The room was unlocked and keys on the table when we arrived. "

"Very comfortable and well-equipped, though the layout upstairs was a bit odd (but we didn't mind). In a fabulous location next to Route 1 and with a great view of the mountains. "
