The rooms have been renovated and are modern and comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable which we appreciated. However, there were a few downsides. "Just gross and dirty. Changed from my first room because it smelled so strongly of wet dog. Second room was so dirty but it didn’t smell."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was perfect. We stayed on after checkout and used the facilities in the bar and had a walk around the estate. Breakfast was great and overall our stay was amazing."
