"EXCELLENT GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT. HANDY ACCESS AT BACK GATE TO OUR CAR WHICH WAS PARKED AT THE SIDE. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, PLENTY OF HOT WATER AND ALL MOD CONS. EDZELL IS A LOVELY SMALL TOWN WITH SOME GREAT WALKS NEARBY. EMILY WAS A PERFECT HOST WHO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US ON ARRIVAL. WE WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN STAYING HERE AGAIN."

"Had a fantastic stay, the accommodation was spotless. Great private garden with hot tub. Owner Alan was fantastic, showed me round the property, was shown how hot tub worked. Everything was provided to make it a lovely relaxing holiday. Plenty nice cafes and shops in edzell to get everything needed. Great base for travelling round and visiting nearby towns. Bed was so comfy, it was warm when I stayed but the bothy was lovely and cool. Will definitely be back for another visit. Best relaxing...

"We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. "

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"On a spacious site by a river, we were welcomed to this superb accommodation by casual and friendly hosts and enjoyed the sporting facilities like golf, tennis, snooker walks and cycling and as well as the castles, restaurants and other amenities in this lovely area. We had only one infant but he too was well catered for."

"Property was as described, spacious and perfect for the nine of us that stayed there. October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well. Easy check in with details sent to us by the host on the morning of check in. I had a couple of queries ahead of our visit and had prompt responses and he checked that we had everything We needed during our stay. Would definitely return should we have...

"A very comfortable stay in a Shepherds Hut which i could live in ☺️ nice wee kitchenette with shower room and toilet and a very comfortable bed. Emma was very welcoming and showed me took accommodation and told me things i needed ro know. Restaurant on site was very good too! 😃"

"We stayed here for my sisters 50th and loved every minute of it. The view from the garden was out of this world, it made the break. The cottage was cosy and whilst some of the decor wasn’t perfect the description was accurate and as described. We will be back, the view was outstanding and lovely wee pubs in walking distance too. "Loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful and so clean. Amanda had left milk, snacks and the house has some basics to use which is great. The robes, slippers and bathroom products are lovely. Wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy everything about this house."
