The first night the first room we were given the floor was obviously not vacuumed (bits of dirt) and the shower area looked a bit grungy at the base corners. The window blind was broken from the base 1.5 foot separation. Definitely not to Hilton standards. And, that night we were paying nearly $200 for all this luxury. 😞 The front staff gave us a new room, but couldn't discount our stay because we had booked through a third party (Expedia). During our 2 night stay, we had to have our entry card reset 3 times! I felt like we spent more time in the lobby than in the room. The breakfast was pathetic. Bagels and English muffins were dried and hard. The oranges this morning had green mold. When I alerted staff, they washed the oranges and put them back out. The pool was closed for maintenance and that was not indicated upon making the reservation.Can you imagine how disappointed a family with children would be had they gone to this hotel expecting a pool? The hotel is a very bare bones setup. I didn't expect that of the Hilton name. No coffee station in room, room very small. I definitely won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this hotel chain to anyone.
