"This guest is a really lovely place to stay, 20 minute walk from Wavery train station, plenty of places to eat 5-10 mins walk away. The building itself is stunning and the continental breakfast is a bonus we weren’t expecting!"

"It was easy to get to this property via the tram after getting off our train from the train station. If you are arriving by plane, you can also easily access the tram to this property too. The proximity to a tram stop makes this property a standout. When we arrived, we were greeted by Edna and her son Craig. "We enjoyed greatly our time at W. Very close to a mall, tons of dining options within walking distance. Sushisamba tasting menu was an excellent culinary experience. The 360 views from terrace of city are a must see. "

"We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

"Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."

"We stayed in Apartment 4 which is a studio apartment, so the bed is a sofa bed which is fine for us, bathroom was great, the apartment was compact but had everything you need 25 minutes to Waverley Station walking downhill and £7 for Uber on the way back Considering Edinburgh prices we felt this was a decent price "

"The one issue is that a taxi cannot pick you up or drop you off outside the property. But staff are happy to call a taxi and it collects you avout 100 metres away at the corner."

"Other than the shower's water pressure being very low, everything was perfect. Good and clean room, comfortable bed, nice view (from fourth floor in my case), and St Andrew's Square with bus station (and Waverley train station shortly behind that) is right around the corner."
