Couldn't have hoped for anything better. More than helpful and accommodating. We will definitely use this again. Lee and his family were king generous and extremely respectful.

Amazing stay!!!! Lee made it extra special for our anniversary! We loved the sunset cruise with Lee’s son. Gorgeous views on the property and fun restaurants nearby! Would highly recommend. The sunsets are UNBEATABLE!!!! Thanks for having us :)

Our family loved our stay! Lee was very communicative and even bought worms for my boys so they could fish. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

Clean, quiet on beautiful piece of property

Highly recommend, felt like we were staying in a bird sanctuary. Easy to get to town for good food and drinks, the space is very comfortable and clean. Hope to stay again.

Wonderful, relaxing, quiet

We loved this property, it was spacious, extremely comfortable (great AC which was huge) and right on the water!! We also liked how close it was to so many towns and great places to eat. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The property is beautiful. Our kids stayed busy fishing and playing at the beach area. House was clean and ready before check in. Would definitely come back in the future.

Unit was extremely spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee bar and the grill. Boating was great! We spent a lot of time relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the beach. There’s even an umbrella. Sunset from the beach was gorgeous. We were hoping to swim but the jellyfish arrived early this year. Drive to Cambridge was easy. We loved RAR brewing - beer, food, service, and overall vibe were A! We wished that the unit had a washer/dryer. The owner has a garage I attached to the rental unit. We enjoyed talking with Lee - he shared interesting info about the area and was helpful.

Relaxation on the Chop Tank

Lee the owner did a great job transforming this into a very cozy updated rental. Great location for sunrises and sunsets, fun activities, kayaking, paddle boarding fishing crabbing & cornhole. My family and I enjoyed ourselves !

Beautiful

We used this property for our wedding weekend. My in-laws stayed here and we utilized the property for groomsmen the day of the wedding. The owner was communicative and helpful! Everyone enjoyed this place, especially my son who spent hours outside exploring.

Exactly what we wanted....no better way to vacay

Clean and well decorated....within driving distance of anything/anyplace we wanted. Water views, wildlife, kayaks, astounding sunsets, an enormous comfy sofa and a deep bathtub...I mean what else is there? The host was polite, informative and rightly takes pride in the lodgings he's created.

Quick Family Getaway

We had an amazing time! The barn was immaculate with so much attention to detail, and the beach was paradise. The kids spent hours paddle boarding, kayaking, and taking the little boat out. It was calm and shallow so very safe for kiddos. We are so thankful to have enjoyed this space together as a family!

Vacation

The place was very clean and accommodating to all our needs. We loved the location on the water and enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and chairs set out on the beach for our use. Lee was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had in regards to his property and he suggested a couple of great restaurants that were close by. We will definitely rent A Little Slice Of Heaven again.

Great Place

Great place, great host. The place was as advertised. Though we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the beach and toys as my wife was there to do Ironman Maryland the view and sunsets were awesome. It was very quiet and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. Lee was very responsive to our texts and is a great guy. Highly recommend the place.

A Perfect Getaway

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful waterfront property for two nights, and it was a perfect getaway! The private beach offered a serene and exclusive spot to unwind. We loved spending our days crabbing, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. One of the highlights was sitting back and relaxing while watching the stunning sunsets—it was truly breathtaking. Overall, this property provided everything we needed for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and activity-filled retreat!

Great weekend on the eastern shore

Property is new, clean, and worked perfectly for our family. We loved that when the heat of the day was too much we could birdwatch from the couch. With the kayaks and Adirondack chairs waiting for us on the beach it was so easy. (Not words usually used for a weekend trip with two young kids)

If you're unsure about this property, just stop looking and book it. It is so peaceful, tranquil, back to nature and simply fun. Sitting on the beach, playing corn hole or a board game all await. Lee is one of the best hosts we've interacted with. He is on hand but never intrusive. In fact, we asked him to bring the property dogs over to visit. Buoy and Copper were so sweet! Good boys. :)Seems like there's quite a bit around the area to do too, but we were having too much fun at the house going paddle boarding, kayaking and sitting on the beach reliving good times to explore mush. I'm already jealous for anyone who is planning their trip here!
My first time on a kayak. LOVED IT!
So peaceful it could make you cry.

Lovely weekend!

The lodge is beautiful decorated in a farmhouse style. The property is new, very clean, and has all the basics you'll need. We loved every single detail! Outside, the kayaks and paddleboards are ready to use. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the patio and viewing the beautiful sunsets. Thanks for the welcoming bottle of wine... very thoughtful!

The perfect getaway on the Choptank River

We had a perfect long weekend at this property and wouldn’t hesitate to return. They’ve tended to every detail, including extra comforters, flavors for coffee they generously provide (regular AND decaf!), and every kitchen item we needed during our visit. The water view is peaceful, and the heron that landed several times just outside of the glass door on Sunday morning sent us off with grace. Many thanks!
