Beautiful and welcoming property for a group of family or friends looking to have a wonderful time. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a two minute walk to a private beach. There is also a smaller private beach that allows dog access. Part of the exclusive Eagle Bay Park Association. Only a few minutes from Old Forge and Inlet... popular attractions in the area. Water Safari, Bald Mountain, Hiking, boating, fishing and nightlife.

Getaway

We enjoyed the stay, everything we needed was there. The ad for the property said within a 2min walk for the lake and the photos looked as though we would just walk out and the lake would be there however the lake was a short drive maybe 4min. For all those seniors who may have a handicap you can't walk to the lake. The only other finding was alot of dog hair from a long haired dog on the floor and behind the couch, also some candy wrappers behind the couch from prior guests.

Great cottage for a weekend away. Excellent host communication. We had trouble with the VRBO welcome site and so this may have been posted but only feedback would be about parking. It was a shared driveway and very difficulty to navigate with people renting the other house on the property. Add a corkscrew to the kitchen tools. 😊

Return to Eagle Bay

We returned to Eagle Bay for a get together at our family property in the park. We were able to book this cottage which was a 2-minute walk from our family's camp and is also, close to the beach. The property met our needs for the time we were there. We especially enjoyed the backyard fire pit and the deer that frequented the apple tree in the yard. It was a very hot week, and the cottage was very warm. Each room has ceiling a fan which helped. We noticed a portable air conditioner in a utility room, but it was not listed in the amenities, so we didn't use it. I should have asked, as we were later told we could have used it. The cottage has a Keurig coffee maker which was put to good use. The property has 2 cottages with a shared single lane driveway. We were able to work out parking arrangements with the tenants in the front cottage. Overall this is a great property and we are considering booking both cottages next year to accommodate more family. Thanks for a great Eagle Bay experience.

Eagle Bay end of School year trip

House and location were great - right in eagle bay (middle of Inlet and old forge. The property has access to a private beach and docks. Kids loved it - caught minows and swam... The house was cozy, had a nice screened patio where we had a family meal. Firepit and enough firewood for the year!. Great trip

Great stay

We stayed at this cabin over July 4th weekend and we couldn't have been happier! It was perfect placement for us, about 2 minutes from Inlet and maybe 10ish from Old Forge, there's 2 beaches literally a 1 minute walk from the house it was great and an ice cream stand and 2 bar/restaurants a 1 minute walk down the road. The pictures honestly don't so this place justice. The yard is pretty big and the entire property was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves - ourside chairs, smores cookers, pots, pans, utensils, plates, towels etc. We will definitely be back!
