"The house and artwork were beautiful.The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We were two families and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The pool no longer has a fence around it and many of the rooms have been upgraded since the photos in this listing. There are no longer bunkbeds which was a disappointment for the kids. If you want to go on beach walks or runs, beware of stray dogs. We hired cooks which was amazing, but the cookware in the house was in really bad shape and had Teflon...

"Excellent host and cleaning crew. I forgot some of my belongings at the house after I checked out. I messaged Alberto and I got my stuff back from the lady that cleans the house without a problem. Easy check in/check out, quiet neighborhood and the restaurant The Palapa that’s a block away from the house serves delicious food."

"Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Santa Clara. The outdoor space at the property is simply amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and taking the kayaks and paddle boards out in the ocean during low tide. "Air conditioning was awful. The rooms would turn off and the living room didn’t have it. The kitchen is just set up as a decoration. You can’t even use it. You have to use the back up kitchen they told us we broke a couple little arrangements which we never did. They just wanted to keep our deposit? I’ve been trying to call them back for the deposit and now they’re not responding back to me, really bad communication very upset "

"Chabihau is a very smaĺl coastal gulf village. Limited groceries, restaurants, yes, but wonderful scenery around the area. Coastal road further east and the various small roads leading directly to the inland market towns give you a true flavor of this area of Yucatan. You can't find it anywhere else.
And FLAMINGOS!! Wow. While we were there, 10 days, some stormy weather, we saw literally hundreds and hundreds in the estuary that borders the sea all along from Progreso to Chabihau. I have never...

"We had a very nice stay. The outdoor furniture was in poor condition. I think a bistro table and chairs on the covered deck would have been nice so we could enjoy the back yard in the morning and one of the longing chairs were broken so only one of us could enjoy the sunny days. Overall I was very pleased with the home and the Neighbors were amazing. I would certainly stay there again and hopefully they do some upgrading to accommodate the outdoor experience in a beautiful back yard setting...
