Affectionately known as 'The Treehouse', this unique property has some of the best views you can find in Durango. Climb the stairs to this perch in the sky... then enjoy the ample space with full kitchen, living room, dining alcove, 2 bedrooms, with 2.5 baths and deck with a view.

The entry level features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry area and plenty of closet space; upstairs welcomes you to a spacious living area, dining alcove, full kitchen and half bath AND fabulous views of the San Juan Mountains with refreshing mountain breezes. There are also 2 rollaway beds to accommodate up to 6 total guests.

**The unit is on the 2nd floor of the complex and requires climbing multiple sets of stairs to access (42 total stairs).**

Settle in with a selection from the bookshelves, watch the deer visit from the deck, or just sit and watch the sun set over the San Juan Mountains. Convenient location to downtown and Fort Lewis College campus, this is a perfect spot to base your adventures.

Convenient to great hiking trails; Hillcrest Golf Course; local bus stop in front of the property for easy access back and forth to downtown. Air conditioning during summer months; amenities on site offer community outdoor pool during the summer; hot tub year round and sauna.

Everything was excellent, with the exception that we had not understood how many stair steps were required to reach the unit. There were four of us aged 75 to 80 and it was a bit of a struggle to get ourselves and our luggage up to the unit, but we managed

Location, location, location!! Condo being a 5min walk to our daughters on campus apt was great. Back way down towards Purgatory was SO excellent and easy to avoid town. Views and hot tub- awesome! AND, according to my wife (I’m bald), great shampoo. Loved it so much she ordered from Amazon on the way home:)Thank you

Very well kept and stocked condo. The location was perfect to visit our Granddaughter at Ft. Lewis college. The mountain view from the window was amazing. Very comfortable beds and very quiet area.

Great Condo

We loved staying at this condo. It had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. It was a good jumping off point for all our adventures, and lovely to come back to each night. I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic stay

The place we stayed at was super cozy and beautiful. At the end of the day exploring downtown Durango and breweries, we were able to come back to the apartment kick our shoes off and just relax.

I think your representation on the web site should include the fact that there are 41 steps up to the property. That information could be critical to some potential renters. It was fine for us!

Not for people that are disabled or physically impaired in any way.

Arriving at the apartment was a bit of a surprise. The apartment is on the third floor. And if you count the fact the apartment is two stories, that will make it four stories up. No elevator of course. The day we arrived it was in the upper 70s. All of the windows face the west. Al of the window blinds were open, so the sun was pouring in and the temp in the apartment was in the mid 80s. And there is no A/C in the apartment. So, I wouldn't recommend this apartment in the summer. I did see some window A/C units in the closets, but they weren't installed. The upstairs was the hottest part of the apartment. It's a good thing we brought our own fans to move the air around. Otherwise, it would not have been a pleasant experience. The TV only has cable TV connected to it. It is not a smart TV capable of streaming APPs. The remote controls would not completely control the TV. The volume had to be adjusted on the side of the TV. Which made very inconvenient when the commercials came on at an ear blistering volume. Other than those things it was clean and had plenty of linens. The kitchen was well stocked with just about any pot or pan or kitchen gadget you can think of.

Lots of stairs.

My daughter and I stayed in one of the “tree house” units in Ferringway. We knew there would be stairs which was fine but the top landing was not well lit. I failed to see that there were two steps down to the landing at the top and stumbled. My knees took quite a hit. Ouch. Otherwise, the unit was nice and it was great to have a washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood most of the time.

Would have liked a little more honesty about how far the sauna and hot tub are from the condo bit of a walk if your soaking wet The condo itself is clean and very nice All the gadgets ya need in the kitchen although we did not utilize the kitchen for cooking just reheated some food but it even had aluminum foil which made cleanup very easy

Exploring around Durango

It was the perfect place to stay for all the national parks/monuments around Durango. The historic downtown was so picturesque. Enjoyed our stay in a lovely place. Even the all steps were bad!

70th birthday surprise

The tree house was very nice. The only draw back and it was not insignificant, was the 56 steep steps are o get up to the tree top! Guess I never saw that in the description. We managed but it was difficult for a couple of senior citizens with WAY too much luggage. Lol. We thought it might be nice if you included a hand cart or a stair climber cart to help bring things up. But other than that it was a wonderful. Would definitely stay again but we will definitely bring a hand cart. Also. The place is very accommodated with EVERYTHING..

Nice condo in good location

Comfortable and well equipped condo just 5 minutes drive from downtown. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We loved Durango. Excellent restaurants and bars. Mesa Verde National Park was well worth visiting.
