  • Enjoy everything Durango has to offer from this conveniently located in-town condo. Visit Durango's historic main street with a short 5-minute drive or access world class mountain biking trails right out the back door. The condo complex offers amenities for any season. Cool off in the pool after exploring the San Juan mountains, or relax in the hot tub after a long day skiing at Purgatory.

    No matter your adventure, end the day relaxing by the fire and taking in the views of the nearby La Plata mountains and Animas River Valley from your cozy living room.

    **This is a second level unit, there are multiple sets of stairs (45 steps) required to access the unit.**

    This updated condo has accommodations for 4 and provides:

    - 2 large bedrooms (1 master) and 2 queen beds (1st level)
    - 2 full bathrooms (first level) and 1 half bath (2nd level)
    - fully stocked kitchen (2nd level)
    - washer/dryer (1st level)
    - wood-burning fireplace (2nd level)
    - private deck (1st level)
    - beautiful views of the La Plata mountains and Animas Valley

    During your stay you'll also have access to the shared pool and hot tub, and sauna located at the clubhouse and a short walk from the unit. The hot tub and sauna are open year round, while the pool is open seasonally from May-September.

    The condo complex backs up to Power Line trail which connects to Raiders Ridge and the Horse Gulch trail system, a world class mountain biking system. There is also a huge soccer field and park directly across the street, as well as tennis courts and a golf course (Hillcrest Golf Club). There are several more trails, as well as a disc golf course that weave through and around the Fort Lewis college campus, all within walking distance of the complex. There's also a local bus stop in front of the property for easy access back and forth to downtown.

Wonderful place

We came for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property Manager was amazing and very responsive. Location was great and accommodations were wonderful.

Condo was conveniently located. The cleanliness needed work. It was apparent that the floors were not cleaned well making it feel not guest ready. The beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were low quality. This is one of the most important features of a guest stay. Invest in a name brand mattress and comfortable pillows and it will make a world difference for future guests. Putting in a few bottles of water and include a welcome note. This would make your guests feel a bit more welcome. Small touches make a difference! In your description online be more transparent about the 4 level of stairs you have to climb up. We were traveling with an elderly individual who experienced great difficulty getting to and from the unit. Remember you are in hospitality - cleanliness, a comfortable nights sleep and a feeling of being welcomed is important

This home was nice and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were clean and the bed linens were nice. We were not told that we would have to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to our accommodations and that there was another flight of stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen and living room.

A great place to stay

If you can handle the 45 steps, this is a great place to stay. Near campus, well-stocked kitchen (even spices!), soap and shampoo in the bathrooms (at least when we were there). Excellent view. If you want to bring bikes, there is a bike rack under the building west of this unit. There was a video game table in the unit when we stayed there, which we really enjoyed.

Durango condo

The condo was comfortable and well equipped. No complaints at all. We enjoyed our stay, location is convenient to town. We would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers. One note; (not a complaint) there are 4 flights of stairs to get to the condo. This was accurately described in the listing so was no surprise. It snowed about 8-9” our first night, so navigating the stairs was an adventure. Just something to be aware of…

Amazing view from the fourth floor!

Arrival and entry was easy, with provided instructions. Condo complex was clean and quiet. 45 steps to the top. The view is well worth it. Basic provisions you would expect are present. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Just three minutes from the historic town center. Nice walking paths right from the complex entrance into town. Linens were 6 out of ten. Kitchen items six out of ten. Furniture was adequate and clean. Climate control was excellent. 300 dollar deposit drawn when you sign

Great place to stay!

The condo was very clean and a home away from home feeling. The area was very nice and very close to the shops and restaurants on Main St. We loved our stay. Only negative things is the door lock didn't work consistently so we used the key which was easier. The floors are really slick and I don't recommend wearing socks on the stairs, super slick. I fell down the stairs our 1st night there and wasn"t able to enjoy our activities or the vacation due to a back injury. We will still stay here again as we did enjoy the condo and the view, but we know not to wesr socks inside lol

Wonderful Visit

We came for parents weekend to visit with our daughter who attends Fort Lewis. It was a wonderful place, close to everything, lots of space and a beautiful view. So much better than staying at a hotel! We were able to cook a meal or 2, play games, and just hangout for a needed visit. We will be staying again when we come for visits. I highly recommend!

Fabulous stay in Durango!

This was a great little Condo close to downtown Durango. The condo was beautiful, clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Ross, was easy to reach and helpful with all questions. I would recommend this stay!
