Welcome to Treetop Overlook at Ferringway (#33)—a cozy retreat nestled above the scenic beauty of Durango! This inviting 2-bed, 2-bath townhome offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation.

Step into the spacious living room, where a wood-burning fireplace and plush seating set the tone for cozy evenings. A flat-screen TV ensures entertainment is always at hand, while large windows bring in plenty of natural light. The dining area, complete with a table for six and a kitchen bar with stools, invites you to gather for meals or plan your next adventure. Each level of this townhome has a bedroom and full bathroom.

The fully stocked kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze, equipped with modern appliances, ample dinnerware, and all the cookware you'll need. Just outside the front entry, a private balcony with seating and stacked firewood lets you take in the crisp mountain air and peaceful surroundings.

Close to downtown Durango, scenic trails, golf course with mountain views, and Fort Lewis College, this condo puts you near the best the area has to offer. Whether you're here for an outdoor escape or a leisurely getaway, Treetop Overlook is your perfect home base!

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Ferringway DO NOT allow pets.

AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offers a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging, as well as multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space without having to leave the grounds.  There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND.

LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment.   Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains.  Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West.  Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango townhome at Ferringway is a great place to stay!

Good stay

Condo was as presented on line. Comfortable place to spend a couple nights while exploring Durango. The stairs into the unit from the parking lot provided a few extra steps. :) Also note that the loft bedroom was warm ...we used the fans provided but found it a bit challenging to get cooled down. Not a big deal, just fyi.. Convenient drive to downtown. I would stay here again.

Great condo close to downtown and perfect to get the best of worlds for skiing Purgatory and the charm of Durango.Only reason for not getting 5 stars is the hot tub was not working as advertised.

Durango Stay

Overall the Condo was clean and convenient to Durango and surrounding areas. The appliances worked properly. The TV operation was a bit clumsy but we managed. Unfortunately the second floor was not air conditioned. We had to jury rig window fans to provide ventilation air to make sleeping comfortable. We had a clogged bathroom sink that was not repaired during our stay. Also the exhaust fan in the 2nd floor bathroom did not work.

Loft is HOT

Overall the stay was great, located close to town, with a nice pool and hot tub on the property. Communication with manager was good. Only a couple of negatives. The sheet on fold out couch had definitely not been changed and the floor behind the couch was gross. Also the downstairs bathroom sink did not drain properly but was easy to work around. Biggest issue, LOFT IS HOT, not warm but HOT. There are two small window units,one for the downstairs bedroom (very adequate) and one for the downstairs common areas and loft (not adequate at all). I would definitely stay here again in the cooler months, but probably not in the summer months.

So much better than a Hotel

We loved the property. Lots of room, full kitchen, 2 baths and big living spaces. So much better than a Hotel. Minutes to downtown. We had a great time and it was nice to "eat in" once in a while. Everything was as promised. Great communication from the property manager, it could not have been better for us.

Great Stay in Durango

Property was in a great location. The property management was very attentive and was accompanying for a late checkout. The little orange supply boxes were a nice touch you don’t often see in a VRBO property. I had no less than 4 texts during my stay just to check in and see if I needed anything. Great stay and will definitely stay here again.

We had a great experience. We took in the hot springs, the reservoir and some neat eatong spots. Lots of stairs to haul luggage up and the loft was pretty warm but we had a great time.

Great place.

I used this place for some much needed alone time and it was good for that . It had everything I needed and the VCR staff were great and very responsive to any questions or problems I had. It does have a lot of outdoor steps to get to the unit - good exercise 👍😊

Fun Durango Getaway!

Convenient & Comfortable

I attended a conference at Fort Lewis with a friend and two of my kiddoes. Last time we did that we stayed in the dorms which was rather uncomfortable. The condo was much more comfortable and was equally convenient. We would do it again!

Cozy Getaway

Our experience was very positive. We loved the location, we loved the privacy, we loved the amenities. For the price point it was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Checkin and checkout was slick. Details outlined in their on line description for how the property worked were spot on. Loved the Sana and hot tub. This was the perfect place from my wife, three kids and I. Sleep cozy warm at night. We enjoyed some family meals at the dinning table. The kitchen is updated with beautiful appliances. We would come back to this place in the future.
