Our 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 2,700 square foot home is located at Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles from downtown Durango (less than 30 minute drive). Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a house with a 2 car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort.

The house features an open floor plan, gas fireplace, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances and great outdoor space including a gas fire pit, outdoor seating and a gas BBQ. There is also a ping pong table in the garage and shuffle board in the Loft.

The townhome is part of the resort so you have access to free on-demand shuttle service to Purgatory Ski Resort, but since it is across the highway you have the privacy and additional space a townhome affords. At 8,900 feet of elevation, the home is a gateway to an amazing winter playground and also serves as the perfect summer retreat, with a million acres of national forest land at your doorstep offering all your favorite mountain activities. It's only a 2 minute walk to Twilight Lake for fishing and paddle boarding and as well as Purgatory Flats Trailhead, one of the most scenic hikes in the San Juan Mountains. Horseback riding, jeep trails, an alpine slide, epic mountain biking and the Purgatory Inferno Mountain Coaster are all less than 5 minutes from the townhome.

Master Bedroom - King Bed with TV (2nd Floor)
2nd Master - King Bed with TV (Main Floor)
3rd Bedroom - Queen Bed with TV (2nd Floor)
4th Bedroom - Queen Bed and 2 day beds with trundle (4 Twins)

The home is pet friendly (2 pet max) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
