Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing."

" We had a fantastic stay at La Maison du Paradis. Pasquale and his wife were excellent hosts. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us. "Very nice stay in the heart of Salerno. Everything you need, and walkable to all the major touristy areas and close to the train station and port area for ferry rides to Amalfi Coast. If driving, make sure to arrange parking with the owner ahead of time. It’s a very tough area to park"

Little things like coffee, tea, lollies, panettone and water plus bathroom accessories made the stay even more comfortable.
