"We absolutely loved our stay at the Beacacarrie house! The property looks remote on the map but is quite convenient and we actually saw some of the most stunning and quintessential Scottish highland sceneries to and from the property (like the highland cows). The house is nice, spacious but cozy, and very clean, and has great view of the ocean. The host is very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. "This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. "

"My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. We would recommend this property and its proprietors without hesitation and hope...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We figured out the stove & dishwasher but the videos were outdated on these appliances. The kitchen could have been a little better stocked but we managed nicely. Loved the town of Portree & enjoyed walking to & fro. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. "
