"Really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Easy check-in and check-out. The house was spotless and everything is updated (bathroom is amazing!). Lots of on site parking in front of the house, which is in a very nice, residential area. Easy access to the Lighthouse and restaurants. I'd like some type of room darkening shades or curtains in the bedrooms since it got light outside very early but regardless, I would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely home. Only complaint would be the water pressure was not good. Hard to wash properly! If you like hiking, this is very well situated. "

"Janice was very hospitable and easy going and helpful and came see if needed anything at all and was friendly the place was very clean and accessible to every where and walkable to sites will be back in future "

"Beautiful home with all amenities. Location was great in a quaint town. We over looked the amazing view from the crows nest. We had lots of room in the four bedroom home. Lovely open kitchen, dining, living area. Dean and Denise were excellent hosts! We would certainly rebook. "

"Quite simply, Goose Cove Retreat exceeded my (very high) expectations if every way. It is obvious that June and Paul have walked through every room and space trying to anticipate what their guests would want or appreciate and then making sure those needs and wants are provided. From the basket of every size of flip flops for the short walk to the magical hot tub in the trees, or the towel / robe hooks on the tree by the hot tub stairs, or the fresh tulips throughout the home, no detail was too...

"Amazing experience....the trailer was comfortable and served us well. Perched right next to a brook as it tumbles down in to the placid bay, just a short stroll down the hill. Barrey's and Linda's hospitality was warm and genuine. A campfire welcomed us as we arrived and we were invited to a lovely lobster supper the following night.Our fist time in Newfoundland, Barrey and Linda were very generous with suggestions, maps, advice and information. We had an amazing time."
