"In 50+ years of travelling for business and pleasure this was worst property I have ever seen….i walked away and paid to stay in an another hotel …dirty,cold draughty falling down horrendous inside and appeared to being used almost as a doss house….absolute disgrace that it’s advertised…they lock it up at 11 only one door on a passcode is available …code didn’t work…anyone considering staying here don’t…there were holes in bathroom walls….hot water took an eternity and shower is an accident...

"Staff were good Room was not too clean Breakfast was ok but pastries were very small. The bacon sausages etc were not very warm and Always waiting for top ups. Bar had only one person serving which meant long waits!"

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!"

Our bed sheets were filthy and when we spoke to reception they handed us sheets and told us to change them ourselves as they the didn’t have any staff on. The place stank of weed. "This must be the most disgusting place I ever stayed in. It's really hard to even describe... everything is old and ugly, it really is in a bad state. The host welcomed us with air freshner but it still stunk. The host had the nerve to charge us £10 for late check-in. The bed made me want to go home really desperately. My room was number 11. Oh, and the horrible bath is shared amongst at least 8 rooms."

"It is being refurbished., so a few problems. Room was clean, towels spotless.plenty of parking spaces. Staff including cleaner's couldn't do enough for us, they were excellent. We have stayed there before and will again."

"Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!"

"Overall room was clean if a little tired, needing refurbishment. This was reflected in the fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel. I had previously stayed at the hotel approx 12 months (Ramada) before and it was 'tired' then, so in need of capital expenditure."

"We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

"No reception or staff to greet you which was not an issue, I was emailed and messaged clear details of how to enter the property and my room. Car park at the side of the property was available and free to use. Spacious room and en suite. Room had a slight musty smell, difficult to have window open as near a busy room. When shut it is however quiet. Would I book again, yes. "
