"We enjoyed our stay in the little apartment. It was in a great location for exploring the local area. It was well stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that let it down was that some of the crockery was quite worn & chipped. We had to wash it all before use as there were still remnants from previous guest's food which was disappointing. "

"Great location, friendly hosts, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful stay in this quiet, secluded farm cottage. Even though we were only 30minutes from Dumfries, it felt like we were deep in the country. Highly recommended for a family stay."

"We booked as we thought it was a weekend break with a hot tub. It has hot tubs on site but we did not have one as we had planned and was really disappointing. I called Sean the manager and did not feel heard or supported and he was not able to aid me in who to complain to as it could be Jose’s sons or berbo but he could not help so we had no options to discuss with anyone else. I shared with him after looking at reviews that this same miscommunication on the reviews had happened to others. I...

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. Thank you for a nice stay."

"We stayed here for 6 weeks . The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. It is centrally located in the town and everything is within walking distance. Communication with Pete was easy and although we had no issues we knew if there was a problem he would be available and it would rectified. We would love to come back stay again ."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. "The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"
