"We stayed at the Ryan Mansion for 4 nights and it was a lovely stay. The beds were very comfortable, it’s close to downtown, very clean, and Mary, who wears all the hats in the hotel, was super accommodating. Her breakfasts were delicious! Upon arrival we noticed our room, which was on the 4th floor (so lots of stairs which was fine for us), was very clean but a bit dark due to a small window. We also felt the walls in our room could use a paint job to freshen it up. Parking is also a bit tricky...

"They dont do ur room everyday and dont have standard information on how to request for it. One day they made the room late in the afternoon while requesting in the morning. Next day they didnt do it and said we have to give notice 24hrs in advance. Staff is not that friendly except for maybe one person. When you are paying a hotel you expect to receive all the services as you are paying full. Even a bottle of water cost but you dont get your room cleaned everyday and you have to remind them and...

"Monastery is wonderful! This was my second time staying here. The staff is kind, the food is great, the rooms are clean, and it feels very safe and welcoming. My first stay, they even did all my laundry, including my bag, and returned it the same day which was so helpful. This will continue to be my go-to place to stay in St. John’s! "
