✫ ✫FIRE PIT ✫ ✫Solo Stove Wood-Burning Fire Pit available from April through October subject to county fire restrictions. Guests must bring their own small logs, which can be purchased at our local country store. We have our Gas Firebowl on the deck year round to sit around and have warmth and enjoy the beautiful stars.
✫ ✫EV CHARGER ✫ ✫ Chargepoint Charger available for your use. We have an adapter for the Teslas. We have dirt roads. Winter months needs 4x4 or AWD and chains being carried is advised. Our 4X4 Jeep has not needed chains but we carry them. If you have any questions about winter driving, check with Katie.
✫ ✫DOG FRIENDLY ✫ ✫We welcome well-behaved dogs with an additional pet fee of $50 per stay. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Please inform us about your pet’s breed at the time of booking for insurance purposes. Please keep in mind the majority of national park trails do not allow dogs. There are some areas in the parks where you can walk your dog. See our guidebook for dog friendly hiking details. We have used the website Rover to get doggy care. Please see our pet guidelines in booking contract/handout for your review and acceptance. We want to keep it simple and convenient. We will provide a pooper/scooper, doggy bags for waste pick-up, and dog bowls for water/food, as well as dog blankets, and a treat. You will need to bring your own crate if you will be leaving your dog while on an adventure, as dogs cannot be unattended.
✫ ✫COMPLIMENTARY HOT BEVERAGES ✫ ✫ Canyon Country Chalet is stocked with complimentary hot beverages (coffee/tea/hot chocolate/apple cider) for morning and evening gazing out the chalet windows or while standing on the deck.
✫ ✫FAMILY FUN / ADVENTURE CAVE ✫ ✫ Our Adventure Cave has toys for toddlers to upper elementary ages. We have Yourigami Foam cushions to be constructed into a tent, fort, couch, etc. Indoor activities include many board games, puzzles, and cards, Pac-man Arcade with several games built-in, dual basketball indoor game, kid safe axe throwing game, and movies on 75” and 65” smart TV’s located in the main and lower living area with your favorite apps for streaming. We also have Corn Hole to play out front or sit around the gas fire table or gas fire bowl.

✫ ✫TWO LIVING AREAS✫ ✫ There are two living areas for relaxing and enjoying friends/family on the main and lower levels. On each of the three levels of the home you can find games or just sit back and relax on reclining leather sofas and chairs; plus, blankets for cozying up in each living area. *Don’t miss our added floor area for your kids to comfortably fit with a book, game or puzzle on the third level next to the game cupboard.
✫ ✫KITCHEN✫ ✫ Enjoy the open space floor plan on the main level of the home with kitchen, dining, and living. Our kitchen is fully stocked with many appliance choices to make cooking enjoyable and a breeze. We have popular seasonings available for you in addition to salt/pepper and vegetable oil. The dining/island for six, plus a round bar height table for four allow ten guests to have seating for eating and relaxing. We want your stay to be comfortable and all your wants for the kitchen to be found. If you would like to use our 3 in 1 High Chair/Booster, we can have it ready for your stay – just let us know.

✫ ✫MAIN LEVEL✫ ✫ The Master Bedroom on the main level has a King bed with a Dr.Greene Kelly Soft Mattress and cozy bedding. There are extra blankets for those who like to sleep even warmer. In addition to the ceiling light fan, there are two side lamps and an alarm clock/charging station. You will have direct access to your bathroom from your room, but the bathroom also has a door into the hallway if you choose to let those on the main level use it. A hair dryer and magnifying mirror are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your convenience. The log king bed has drawers on each side; the room has a closet. The Pack&Play is stored in the master closet for those traveling with young children.
✫ ✫UPPER LEVEL✫ ✫ The “East” room has a Queen log bed with a luxury mattress and additional mattress topper for even more comfort, dresser, and two nightstands with table lamps and alarm clock/charger station. There is a ceiling light fan. You’ll find extra blankets. The Upper Level full Bathroom is between the “East” and “West” bedrooms. It has a shower and a tub. You’ll find a hair dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom for your use, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the dispenser on the shower wall. The “West” room sleeps four or five people with one set of twin bunk beds, a full size bed and a single twin bed. There is a dresser and nightstand, and a ceiling light fan.
✫ ✫LOWER LEVEL✫ ✫ Need different room configurations with your family and friends? We also have a twin roll-a-way foldable bed that can be used on the lower level to sleep 9 or 10. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub on the lower level. You will also find a hair dryer, as well as the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is also a basket of blankets for cozying up on the leather recliners. Need a place to work? A Bar-height desk set at the window A 65” TV is also located on this level.

✫ ✫LAUNDRY ROOM✫ ✫ Located on the main level - Washer and dryer with Laundry Soap & Dryer sheets provided. We choose Tide or Kirkland brand laundry soap that is labeled sensitive or free and clear of dye and perfume. Utility Sink, Towels for Entry Hall/Bench Wall Tree for shoes and hanging jackets.
✫ ✫NATIONAL PARKS✫ ✫ Bryce Canyon to the Northeast and Zion National Park to the Southwest are each less than an hour away. Within three hours, you can see the Grand Canyon North Rim or Capitol Reef National Park.
✫ ✫PHOTO PRINTER GUEST BOOK✫ ✫ As you conclude your stay, we have a “Guest Memory Book” basket with a wireless photo printer in our home for you to sign, write a note, and even print out a landscape or family/friend memory of your adventures to stick in our Guest Memory Book.

✫ ✫WINTER WARNING✫ ✫The Duck Creek Village neighborhood roads are all dirt. In the winter or when snow is on the ground, having 4×4, AWD, and/or chains are needed. Our street, Redwood Road, is long and uphill, but there is an alternate way if the road is too difficult from snow or ice. Our property is on a flat lot. We have lots of parking on the east and west side of our home.
