Drake House: The Loft (Private Hot Tub)

No expenses were spared on this beautifully decorated suite! Located in the famous Millwork district, the Loft, a transitional modern style unit, is ideal for one couple but can sleep up to 4. It’s the perfect romantic getaway or business destination. The unit's entry point is on the second floor but has two levels within the unit itself. The main floor has a fully stocked kitchen, the deck with a private hot tub, a living area with a gas fireplace and tv and a full bathroom. The upstairs has an additional living area with pull out couch, a full bath including a rain head shower and a master bedroom furnished with a king size bed.

We hope you enjoy, relax and rejuvenate during your stay.

*Note, the entrance to the unit is in the stairwell of Charlotte's Coffeehouse. Patrons of the coffeehouse may walk by the front door to the unit during coffeehouse business hours only.

A beautiful, quiet property. So beautifully renovated with all the touches of care and quality. We did not want to leave. Charlotte’s Cafe was our go to both mornings. It was delicious and such a cozy, friendly vibe. Our only problem was being too eager to get into the Drake House. We went to the first door, thinking there was only 1 Drake House entrance. I didn’t think to match the door number with the address we were give. Once we had the correct entrance, everything was perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Amazing place in an excellent location! We loved staying here and went to the coffeehouse downstairs every morning for breakfast. Perfect spot for walking around downtown but still having privacy and quiet.

30th Anniversarry

It was really nice Millwork district with all the history of the buildings and Dubuque has some beautiful old architecture that we drove around to see and admire! Be sure to just go out and explore around all around. Marco's Supper Club was great, as was the Field of Dreams in Dyersville. The only two little things I have to mention for improvement is if the mattress was a memory foam bed it would have been better, and the window in the bedroom with no blind or curtain needs something for early sleepers and wanting to sleep in-the sun was blinding-lol.Other than those little things it was perfect!

Weekend getaway

This apartment was beautiful, in a perfect location, right above a very cool cafe and walking distance to everything. There was a minor mix-up with the housekeeping upon our arrival, which was taken care of quickly by management, who went above and beyond to make right. We would definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to our next stay!Oh and the huge hot tub was a great way to wind down the day.
