Luxurious newly renovated Townhouse Originally Built in 1916. This spacious property has been totally refurbished to a very high standard with modern décor and fittings. It is unique in design as most rooms have feature-curved walls. The top floor, which is the main feature of the house, has a Cathedral Dome-shaped ceiling to complement an original Brick Arch. This Master Bedroom measures nearly 40sq Metres and comes with a master Ensuite with a spectacular Gold Mosaic wall, sunken Jacuzzi Bath, and large Shower. There is also a built in 55-inch TV, a Sonas Sound System, two walk-in wardrobes and a south-facing Balcony.
The First Floor has two Large Double Bedrooms with Ensuite Bathrooms. Fixtures and Fittings are Villeroy and Boch design. There is fitted Custom-made designer wardrobes in both bedrooms.
Downstairs you walk into living area with Feature curved wall and stunning bespoke Radiator. This spectacular living space will comfortably seat six people. This leads on to a family room with a Natuzzi leather Sofa to complement the bespoke curved wall. This room has an Original Brick Fireplace with decorative Potbelly stove. There is a Downstairs Toilet with Gold Mosaic Curved Ceiling fitted out with attractive tiling and Villeroy and Boch Fittings.
The modern Kitchen/Dining Room is fitted with an Italian-designed Glass Kitchen by Scavolini. It comes fully equipped with Double Oven, Microwave, Hob, Fridge Freezer, Washer/ Dryer and Dishwasher. There are Bi-fold doors that open out to a Planted Patio area. Outside there is a landscaped front garden with off-street parking.

Good location. Lots of space. Easy communication. Very accommodating host. Great having so many bathrooms!Though the listing photo is misleading, since the home is not on the water, it is quite unique inside and surprisingly modern and spacious.We really enjoyed our stay and were able to walk to most of our destinations.

The house was spectacular. The pictures online tell the story. it was super modern, but comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would ever need, plus snacks and even a few beers in the frig. It was clean and had good beds. The location wasn't bad. it was close to the canal. We would definitely stay there again.

Dublin Visit for Sons’ Wedding

This unit was more gorgeous than the photos demonstrated. Everything we needed and more. Unit was not actually on the cannel waterfront but easy location for transportation. I would suggest adding that master suite was up a full flight of stairs. We hope to stay again when we are back in Dublin.

Great location and place

Nice property with lots of space for a family of 5 with 3 young adults. We appreciated the upgraded bathrooms for each guest and the nice amenities and that each person had their own space. The welcome snack basket was also a nice touch! Recommend!

Great place to stay exactly as described

It was easy to get access to unit. Everything was as described. The kitchen was beautiful. The bedrooms/baths were great for each of us. We each had our own bed/bath. The only struggles we had were it got really chilly a few nights and we were unable to change the thermostat to put some heat on and used blankets to wrap up in sitting downstairs.

Wonderful experience

The house was perfect for my family of six, which consisted of three adult couples. Three separate bedrooms, each with their own bath along with an extra bathroom on the first floor. There was plenty of room on the first floor to get together between the kitchen and the other two rooms. The house was clean and the owner was super responsive with any questions. We loved the location. We were just minutes away walking to restaurants and a grocery store and just a few minutes further to Trinity College and St. Stephen's Green area. Highly recommend as our experience here was wonderful.

Great place to stay

This is a very modern apartment, We were 6 adults sharing this flat laid out on 3 floors. All bedrooms had en suite bathrooms - beds were very conformatble. The kitchen had all the appliances needed to make meals. There are grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. The 4 star rating for locations was simply to reflect that it is a 30 minute walk to the centre of Dublin. The 4 star rating for the listing is a little misleading as the picure does not show the actual building the flat is located in. Overall, I would recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay there again.

High quality in a great location with great host.

After such a long time not able to travel, we were lucky enough to visit Dublin for a few weeks this summer. We needed a place that could accommodate a family with enough space to spread out and within walking distance to pubs and the city center. The Grand Canal Townhouse was the perfect answer to all that we needed. Not only was the location great, the check-in process was seamless, and John was a pleasure to communicate with. He arranged for the home to be cleaned weekly and checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the visit. We could walk to several great pubs, take our laundry to be cleaned just down the street, visit the pharmacy just around the corner, and get groceries from one of several shops nearby. I hope we can visit as a family again and would definitely stay in this townhouse in the future.

Spacious and Good Location

Had a small problem with double booking and we were switched to this unit but it was not all bad. This unit had an awesome view with floor to ceiling windows right on the grand canal. The condo was spacious and beds were comfortable. John the host was easy to deal with and communication was good. Would recommend for larger groups or families

Great home!

Excellent location, walking distance to several good restaurants and pubs. The house itself is nicely appointed and has all the modern conveniences. Very clean, very comfortable beds. It is only 30 minutes to Dublin airport and John had a welcome basket waiting for us. Communication was excellent and we would definitely stay there again if we go back to Ireland.

More than expected!!!

We didn’t arrive until after midnight on our first night. We actually arrived a night early; I emailed the owner and within 15 minutes he responded to let me know the unit was available tonight early. When we arrived he had a welcome basket including cereal and milk. We got there late and this was a lifesaver for my grandchildren that were traveling with us. They had two bowls of cereal and milk before they went to bed that night. I don’t know what we would’ve done otherwise as we would not have known anywhere to find something to eat for them that late at night. When we opened the door our grandkids ran in and came back out and said it is so beautiful here! The accommodations are top-notch! Everything seems brand new and they had everything we needed. Right down to converter for plug-ins, spices, Ice!, Plastic and paper bags in the cabinets (you have to have those or you get charged for them here), fans on each level to pull in the cool air from outside and so much more. We had six guests staying here and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub after our long days of walking. The owner emailed me to see if we need an extra towels. We thought we were fine he still delivered extra house in the middle of the week. My mom lost her credit cards during our trip and had to have new cards delivered. He let us know that there was a mailbox and the key that we could use if needed. The service was just beyond expectations!! Oh and location was great. Anytime we ordered taxis we were within 10-15 minutes of anywhere in the city Thanks so much!!!! 5 star!!!
