Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here based on the following serious concerns.
First, the cleanliness was unacceptable there was black mould in the shower, yellow water from the bathroom faucet, and very dirty counters. We were also only given a limited number of towels, which made our stay even more inconvenient.
Worse still, our room door would not lock, and a piece of the keycard scanner was missing. We reported this immediately to the front desk, but instead of treating it with urgency, staff insisted the door was fine and delayed addressing the issue. It took nearly two hours for them to give us a new room which only happened after we refused to accept their excuses. This was a major safety concern that was handled extremely poorly.
On top of that, the hotel has inconvenient and unreasonable policies: They charge 15 AED for a bucket of ice, even in emergencies. There are no microwaves in the rooms, and guests are not allowed to use any microwave anywhere in the hotel. The staff were generally unhelpful and dismissive of concerns. This stay left us feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, and deeply frustrated. Unless major improvements are made to cleanliness, customer service, and basic amenities, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
